Skypaw trudged into the apprentice's den, moss hanging from his jaws. He set the moss down at a clear spot near the front of the den, since he assumed the newer cats stayed in the colder areas. Skypaw started arranging his bed, looking around for denmates. He didn't really know any cats, so this was his chance to meet someone. Still fixing up his bed, he looked across the den and grinned as he noticed a figure. "Hi there!"

Autumnpaw slowly padded out from the shadows and sat down in front of the smaller apprentice. Hello. She said.

Skypaw purred as the figure came closer to join him. He looked over her quickly; it was a light-furred she-cat, and not one he recognized. "Who are you? I'm Skypaw!"

Owlpaw walked into the den and plumped down onto his nest, he sighed and yawned, and looked to two other apprentices, having a conversation. He sat up and nodded, "Mind if I.. join in to talk?"

"Aw, you don't? Well don't be sad, you'll get a new one soon enough!" He replied, turning to Owlpaw as he joined. "Not at all! What's your name? I'm Skypaw and this is Autumnpaw." He gestured to the she-cat with a head nod.

"I'm Owlpaw," he mewed with a flick of his ear, and nodded to the two other apprentices. He looked around the den, guessing most of the other apprentices were out training, or eating, but it seemed empty.

"Thanks! I like your names' too," he mewed with a deep nod. He wondered, knowing he barely met with his mentor a bit ago, "He seems really nice! He kinda stumbles on words, but I don't care, I bet he'll make me a warrior in no time." The orange and white, long legged tom wondered as he tilted his head, "Who's your mentor?"
