It seemed the forest have never changed. What she expected when she got back was utter discord here, dim-witted wolves running around, claiming the they are the new king or queen - the new ruler of this once peaceful woods that she had once called home. Looks can be perceiving though, and perhaps things are actually what she first thought, just hiding in plain sight that her naive mind couldn't see. Was a small piece of her hoping that things have calmed down? That she can finally return and be with her friends once more?.

A smile crossed the fae's face. She was home atlast.

bruuuuuuuuh i lead toph through the woods, attempting to find a deer or something. we needed food, and the fire had led all the prey away. "hellhound stop. i smell wolf." i paused as the teen spoke, glancing down at her small figure. i watched her nose twitch, waiting patiently to see if she could identify the scent. suddenly her head shot up, sightless eyes wide. "what is it? toph? toph!" she was a few yards ahead of me now, panic glossing my throat. dashing after the blind girl, i caught up with her and shoved her out of the way of a tree. "what in hell's name are you doing?!"  the look on her face worried me, but her words... her words made my heart ache. "it's clem, hellhound. it's her." i looked around helplessly, trying to spot a sliver of the female somewhere in the trees. "clementine!" toph called into the air, while my single eye dashed across the foliage. please... clem, show yourself. holy cr a p hello

'Clementine!'

Her own name rung through the air, causing the fae's ears to prick forward as she glanced around in hopes of trying to find the very person that uttered her name in such glee and hope. Hope that her friend was really there with her at last. The tawny she-wolf let a smile grace her winsome face, glancing backwards where the call came from. A warm feeling burned her chest. It seemed one of her friends had found her....and had missed her too.

"I am not Clementine! I am the Melon Lord!" she called out in a joking manner, using the one of the nicknames given to her for old times sake. She stepped out the foliage, her golden eyes staring lovingly at her two favorite people.

bruuuuuuuuh i let a large grin cross my scarred face. toph dashed forward, finding clem from her scent. or at least that's what i guessed. the teen nuzzled her face into the other girl's fur, and i stepped towards them as well. "oh clementine, how we've missed you." i stated softly, touching my nose to her's in brief greeting. toph laughed loudly, her sightless eyes bright. "where've you even been?!" you nerd i've missed you! ;w;

Nuzzling the blood fae before her, a warm feeling nuzzled itself in her chest, filling her with great joy and pleasure for being able to see her friends again. She smiled at the two, "I'm sorry, but I had to pay mother dearest a visit." she said, ending the sentence quite venomously at the mention of her mother.

bruuuuuuuuh toph sat down in front of clementine while i stayed standing, my excitement and happiness barely being able to be contained. the blind girl cocked her head at the other's statement, and asked the question that was clawing at my mind. "well, why the venom spewing?" she muttered, while i gave a curt nod. "if you don't mind saying, that is." i added, prodding toph lightly with my single front paw. as a second thought, i also rasped "we have a lot to speak about, clem." it's perfectly fine, yo. i totally understand. i'm just happy to see you around again <3 and it's okay! mine will most likely be a bit short as well.

She frowned, deciding she might as well give her closest, and most trusted friends the reason why she had disappeared for so long. Sighing, she layed on her belly as she prepared to tell her history.

"I'm sure you must remember when you found me when I was a pup, right Hellhound?" she started, her golden eyes resting on the scarred brute before she continued. "Originally, I came from a different forest near here. I was born to a strong pack and well respected parents in a huge pack. I was the runt of the litter but I was strong as my other brother and sisters, so there was no worry if I would make it through the winter. The litter I was born into had 1 female aka me and 4 brothers. My brothers were very rough and rowdy bunch, often I got hurt or shunned when I played with them so I was very close to my older sister, who was a previous litter. Everything was fine with our small family, until one day....There was an earthquake. My sister died when she fell into a ravine, and I had fell in trying to save her. I had damaged my jaw very badly. I couldn't take right or eat right. My Mother didn't think I would survive so eventually she snapped me away, abandoning from the rest of the pack. I wandered pack to pack in order to survive, but I was deemed "damaged" and was casted away each time. Eventually I ended out passing out from hunger and exhaustion next to a tree in the territory where Hellhound ruled."

She took a deep breath,trying to catch her breath from the long tale before speaking once more. "A few moons back, I had decided to pay my Mother a visit after finally being able to speak normally again. She greeted me warmly, happy that I was "damaged" anymore, and tried to set me up with the Alpha's son. I refused, then I found out that she had another "damaged" pup in her recent litter and she had decided to drown it. I grew furious, we fought, and I had killed her."
