Briarkit stood up from the nest she was in, and took a step forward. Should I really go out into the camp? Briarkit had always been shy, and needed a friend or two to bring out a more outgoing her. She finally decided, and stepped out into the camp.
The amazing colors dazzled her, completely different from the usual warm and cramped nursery. Her silver tabby pelt shone brighter in the sunlight. She gave a small purr, and padded around, enjoying that she finally explored.
One thing she wanted to know is if there were any other kits. "Is any kit out there?" She half yowled, half mumbled. Her green eyes started to show worry that she wouldn't find a friend.

Perchkit approached the tiny silver tabby and touched her tail tip to the kitten's side to help calm her down. "I'm here." She mewed gently. "My name is Perchkit." She looked down at the she-kit with warm honey-colored eyes and smiled sweetly. "I can see that this is your first time leaving the nursery."

She gave a curt nod, looking up at the obviously older shekit. "Yeah, and so far it's... nice." She mews, her olive green eyes showing some relief. "I'm Briarkit by the way, nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you as well, Briarkit." Perchkit sat down next the green-eyed kitten and laid her tail neatly over her socked paws. "I remember my first time setting paw outside of the nursery. I wasn't nervous or anything, I actually felt as if my eyes couldn't take enough in no matter how long I looked around." The black-and-white she-kit smiled at the memory. "What do you think of the mountains, beautiful aren't they?" Perchkit mewed and tilted her head back to get a better view of the mountain peaks surrounding the camp.

She looked up at the beautiful jagged peaks, the sunlight outlining the sharp structure. "They are beautiful," She mewed. "But it's probably so cold!" Somehow the Iceclan kit wasn't fond of the chilly weather.

She looked back at Perchkit. "How many moons are you? I am one moon."

Perchkit chuckled lightly at the kit's remark towards the mountains. Of course the mountain temperatures were wintry, especially at their peaks where they were closest to the sky. IceClan sure didn't earn its name by having sun-lite fields of flowers. "I'm five moons old." Perchkit replied.
