SunsetshadowFreezepaw sighed as he lay on his back in his nest. His eyes were staring at the roof of the den. His face conveying his usual look of boredom. Things were boring. He wasn't training with Lionstrike and Azaleapaw was nowhere to be found unfortunately. He didn't feel like searching for her. Thus.... Things were dull. It was rare when he was actually, honestly bored. This was one of those unfortunate times. There was nothing interesting to be viewed. No one to talk to. There was just him, his nest, and the apprentice's den. Not exactly good conversational partners. He supposed he could get up and go out into the camp and find someone to talk to. Still... He didn't want to. There was a chance he might not like whoever he approached. They might think him weird for just coming up to a stranger. He sighed. Life was full of tough choices. He often disliked making decisions. There was always a long list of pros and cons to each side, with no clear winner. He closed his eyes and hoped someone would come along. Maybe trip on his tail or something.

And as if his wish came true, Sunsetpaw--who had darted into the apprentice's den with a bundle of moss and an annoyed expression--clumsily tripped on his tail, smashing her muzzle against the ground and crying out. "Aauh! Jeezus, that hurts!" she hissed with golden-amber eyes even more murderous than before. She snapped her head towards the apprentice, who didn't help his case with an indiffierent expression. "Nice place for your tail." she growled angrily, coming rather close to blaming the unfamiliar apprentice for purposely tripping her. Which she had a gift of blind blame and then quick pity. Awful personality, really.
With a huff, the dark golden tabby stood, fluffing out fur quite similar to her father's and awaiting for a response. Jeez... did he have to put his tail right there of all places?

Oh Cloudclan, seriously?!
This apprentice was another angry, possibly prideful she-cat. He hoped she wasn't more or less a second Azaleapaw. That would be a little too much for him to bear. He sighed in exasperation. The she-cat was currently extremely agitated and seemed to blame him for his tail placement. As if he was placing it there for the sole purpose of tripping her. Or tripping someone. He looked at her with an unamused expression.
He sat up in his nest, retracting his tail into his nest, laying to rest curling around his paws in his sitting position. He calmly looked into the she-cat's eyes. They were a golden amber color and of course, filled with bloodthirsty murder with perhaps a side of homicidal tendencies. His expression literally failed to change. He sighed once more.
"And nice place for your eyes to be directed." He drawled.

Sunsetpaw couldn't help but stare back. "Smart mouth." she muttered to herself, and then turned away. She raised a paw to rub her nose, wincing and letting out little yips as it stung. "That's gonna leave a bruise... thanks." Sunsetpaw grumbled, although she was slowly losing her anger to the pain. More so wondering if she should go to the medicine cats or just walk it off. What would her parents do if they tripped over someone's tail and hurt their muzzle? Like I'd know, really.
After a moment, she noticed her moss bundle. Scattered and squished under her back paws. With a groan, she stood and slipped the flattened green stuff out. What a waste... and now I have to go all the way out to the clearing to get more. Uugh....

Freezepaw made no change in expression.
He'd heard what she muttered. Called him a smart mouth. He supposed it might've been viewed like that. Perhaps he had a smart mouth. He could always confirm it with Azaleapaw later or something. Then she grumbled about being bruised. He shrugged at her. "Sorry." He meowed for what it was worth. Granted, his bored tone probably didn't help matters. Though honestly... He didn't care all that much. This cat wasn't too nice thus far.
Then she groaned at the moss she'd brought in. He looked over at it. He shifted his gaze back to her. He wondered if he should offer to help. He decided against it. He wasn't currently feeling all that inclined to get on her good side. He yawned and sunk deeper into his nest.

The strange apprentice appologized, giving Sunsetpaw a slight reason to forgive him. Until he turned and went right back to what he was doing--sleeping. Really, what a friendly tomcat. Sighing, the dark golden tabby rolled her eyes and moved to gather her moss together. "Look, sorry for snapping at you. I'm just annoyed and... too lazy to get more moss." As if to prove her point, she hooked the nest material with a claw and flicked it towards the den entrance. I'll get it later.
Glancing at her nest, and then at the apprentice, she couldn't help but find the weight of her duties weighing down her shoulders. A little nap wouldn't hurt anyone, would it? Did her parents skip their responsibilities to sleep? This apprentice clearly did.
Without another thought, Sunsetpaw curled into the softness of her nest. She fixed the edges so they curved upwards a bit, and then laid her head on her paws and closed her amber eyes. She highly expected the tomcat not to say anything.

Freezepaw was watching her.
The she-cat was shoving all of her moss to the side. Then she explained she was simply annoyed and lazy. He let out a loud sigh. That sounded stupid. She was already working, so she had some degree of motivation. He only did productive things after being forced to do something. That way he could get active things out of the way and he could simply just chill afterwards. Then if anyone bugged him, tell them he already filled his quota for doing not-lazy things.
He heard some shuffling and saw she was certainly living up to her statement, laying down in a nest. He placed a paw on his face in slight exasperation. He did not think all too highly of this apprentice's intellect. "You're a moron. I'm Freezepaw." He meowed, sounding extremely disinterested, introducing himself.

Sunsetpaw bristled at the insult. "Excuse me? I'm not the one laid out like a dead animal in between the nests, stupid." she retorted harshly, golden-amber eyes cold and angry. She huffed, and turned her back from him. What a mangy-furred apprentice.
