Skypaw sat a tail-length away from Nightpaw, wondering what she was doing. Is she sleeping? What if she's dead? Oh no! I should go check on her! His blue eyes widened in fear, though this only lasted a moment before she got up. He smiled. So she wasn't dead. But wait, was she coming over to him? Sweet, a new friend! "Lonelytail? That's silly!" He laughed. "I'm Skypaw! Nice to meet you!"

Nightpaw on the other hand did not have either.

"Me? Hyper? You gotta be kidding!" He thumped his tail against the ground as she explained the name. "I wasn't lonely. You're the one who looked lonely!" He shook her head as she went on. "Not really. The only other cats I'm friends with would be my sisters, and Duskrise just finished training me for the day. What about you? Don't you have someone to bug?"

"Well yes, I accept that considering my mentor is missing and same with my only friend." she mewled and then she shrugged. "I'm bugging you ain't I? Your a someone. Unless your a ghost, then I'm going insane." the she-cat joked as she flicked her tail and looked at the entrance/exit of camp. "Ey has Duskrise taught you how to hunt yet?"

"What? I promise I'm not a ghost!" Skypaw exclaimed, looking down at his fur to make sure it wasn't transparent. He looked up as she asked a question, and followed her gaze to the exit. I don't know how to hunt... But if I say that, she might not wanna go out there! As much as he hated it, the apprentice decided to lie. "Yeah, he taught me that! Let's go!"

I like this tom.. hes my new stormy.. I can make something out of this. she thought and then she nodded and slipped out of camp. "I hate being trapped in that camp, I had to teach myself everything sense Lightheart went missing." she mewled and flicked her tail. "Come on lets see your skill, it intrigues me how cats taught by actual warriors do."

Skypaw followed close behind, eager to leave the clearing. After seeing the territory, he never wanted to return to camp. "You did? I'm sorry." He frowned for a moment, but then an idea came into mind and he brightened up. "Maybe you could come training with Duskrise and I sometime! It'll be so fun!" He chirped, trotting into a pace beside her. He nodded as she went on. "Alright, where?"

"You know what, talk to your mentor and if he agrees that'd be lovely, my time as a apprentice is almost done but I still got some time, it wouldn't be half bad seeing how a cat actually learns." she said with a pure as she pushed through some bushes and came the pond. "Will do some fishing sense land prey seems to be kind of light right now." she said. "Did he teach you this? If not, I'm sure I can."

"Great! I'll go ask him when we get back!" Skypaw purred. He'd never trained with another cat before. I bet it's a lot more fun than training alone. He stopped as they reached the pond, eyes widening. It looked so cool! Well, now that we're out of camp, I might as well tell her I can't hunt... Skypaw turned to Nightpaw. "Um, could you show me?"

The she-cat grinned. "Thanks Skypaw, you know, your pretty cool." she mewled and then she nodded as he asked to be shown. She watched the water closely with her blue eyes and then quickly she threw out her claws and threw her paw into the water scooping out a rainbow trout. She threw it from the water as it flopped a few times and she just put her paw on its gills killing it faster.

"Really? You're pretty cool yourself!" He purred, delighted that she wasn't annoyed with him like some cats were. The tom fell silent as she got closer to the water. He watched intently, letting out a little gasp as Nightpaw's paw came out of the pond with a fish. He stared at the fish as she killed it, blue eyes round. "Wow! That was amazing!"
