Redkit was sleeping really well. Like, the best sleep he'd ever had. He was dreaming that he was the best hunter in the land, and that he was chasing a hawk on the mountains. Suddenly they were running towards a cliff, and he couldn't stop. He watched as he fell right off the mountain, and when he hit the ground, he woke up. Out of his nest. He had rolled right off.

He muttered small curses under his breath as he got to his paws. Stupid dreams, why did they have to be so real sometimes? He shook some moss off of his pelt and looked around. The light coming in from the entrance indicated that it was a little past dawn. Hopefully some other kits would be awake by now. "I really hope nobody saw me roll out of my nest.." He whispered to himself as he padded away from his now destroyed moss bed.

[Leopardkit]

Leopardkit couldn't sleep on that night,

so there was nothing to do besides stare

at the nursery's wall.

Suddenly,the spotted kitten noticed that

a tom started to move on his own nest

What is he doing?Maybe he is dreaming

Leopardkit thought and flicked her ears.

The tom,for some reason,fell on the ground.

The she kit chuckled in amusement,

however she started to pretend that she

didn't see anything.

Bad dreams?

The sudden sound of chuckling made Redkit turn to face Leopardkit. She was roughly the same age as him, and was either pretending to be asleep, or there was another cat nearby that had laughed. He padded up to her and cocked his head with curiosity. "Hey, you.." He whispered, sitting down in front of the spotted she-cat. "You awake?" He asked quietly, hoping he wasn't being rude. He hated being rude to other kits.

He suddenly felt extremely self-conscious. What if he was being a giant dork right now? And about what, rolling out of his nest? He suddenly felt hot with embarrassment.

The bengal was a embarassed: if she
didn't have fur she would be red by now.
Leopardkit twitched her ears and turned
to see the reddish tom kit
You shouldn't have chuckled stupid
Leopardkit!Now he probably angry
with you stupid kit!
Leopardkit turned her head to Redkit
and stared at him for a moment with
her leaf green eyes
"I-I-I'm s-so sorry.I should t-try
to sleep again right?"
The spotted kitten said with a nervous
mew,almost whispering.

Redkit took a step back and shook his head. "Don't be sorry. I'm sure me rolling out of my nest looked funny." He said reassuringly, giving her a small smile. "Hi, I'm Redkit. I get really nervous about people laughing at me, so sorry about waltzing over here like that. What's your name? I swear I don't bite." He said kindly, sitting down and cocking his head. Perhaps he could salvage a friendship out of this awkward event.

The bengal was relieved to hear that the tom

didn't become angry or something.

Redkit.It really suits him!

Leopardkit thought while she looked at the

reddish brown tom kit

"I'm Leopardkit and I'm happy to know

that you don't bite"

The spotted kitten said with a shy smile

to Redkit

"Nice to meet you."

Leopardkit mewed sitting on her moss nest.

He doesn't seems to be a bad kit!Maybe we

could be friends one day?

Redkit smiled at her when she introduced herself. Leopardkit was definitely a fitting name. He dipped his head in respect. "Well, Leopardkit, would you like to do something? Perhaps a game, or maybe just exploring camp or something." He gave a little shrug. He really didn't care what they did, he just wanted to get to know the she-cat a little better.

Leopardkit nodded to the tom "Maybe we could go outside,Just if you want to if course" she said with a she mew

Redkit nodded and smiled. "Sure, outside sounds nice." He purred as he got to his paws. He nodded his head at the younger kit to indicate he wanted her to lead the way.
