Softkit slowly stood up from her nest and walked to the entrance of the camp. She looked up at the sky and looked at the clouds. She tilted her head as she saw one shaped like a fish.

Redkit had just padded out of the Nursery when he spotted something odd. A random kit just staring at the sky, and right in front of the camp's entrance. He walked over and cocked his head to the side. "Hey uh, what're you up to?" He asked quietly, looking at the sky with her.

Softpaw was startled as another kit behind her spoke to her. "Oh... just watching the clouds i guess." she said.

[Redpaw]

Redkit smiled, although he didn't look down from the sky. "Ah, I like doing that too. See any good ones?" He asked as he looked for any distinguishable shapes.

Soft paw pointed towards the fish shaped cloud. "Theres a lot of good ones, but thats the last one i found." she replied. "A fish."

[Redpaw]

Redkit spotted the fish-shaped cloud pretty easily and smiled. "I once heard that clouds that have shapes like that are omens from Cloudclan. Perhaps the spirits are trying to tell us that now is a good time for fishing." He purred as he looked back own at Softkit. "Oh, right, introductions. I'm Redkit. What's your name?" He asked kindly.

"I'm Softkit." she replied. she glanced at the clouds and was captivated by one. It kept changing shapes. first a bird then a tree, then a cat...

Softkit, nice name. He couldn't help but wonder if she had been named for her fur or her personality. She seemed kind and quiet enough, but also physically soft. He couldn't tell, and didn't dare ask. "So, who's your mom?" He asked quietly, looking at the clouds still.

"Petalfur." she replied. "Ash frost is my father." she added. "You?"

Petalfur and Ashfrost, not bad. Softkit was lucky enough to be one of the few kits that knew both of her parents. "My mom's Fallensnow." He said, which was a bit of a lie. Technically she was in no way his birth mother, or even his true adoptive mother. He simply chose her over Rowansky. "Have you met any other kits? I've been looking to make more friends." He said quietly.

Softpaw shook her head. "Your the first cat I've met since i've gained my scences." she replied.

Redkit nodded understandingly. "Ah, gotcha. Well there's another kit, Leopardkit, who's pretty cool. Maybe I'll introduce her to you. But for now, maybe you and I can do something. Are you any good at games?" He asked, looking down at her.

"Leopardkit... you mean like my sister? I haven't met her yet." she replied. "I guess... I'm ok at games."

Redkit shrugged at the sister comment. "She might be. I didn't get a chance to ask her who her mom was. If she is, you have a nice sister. You two don't really look alike though." He said, hoping that could be taken in a good way. "Well, what games are you good at? I'm up for just about anything, except moss ball. Too much moss ball games, I say." He said, remembering how often he'd see a wad of moss thrown around the Nursery at every hour of the day.

Softkit shuddered. "I agree with that. How about... warriors?"
