He sighed and shook his head. He hated getting told that. "Fine. Though I really think you're overreacting." Skypaw flicked an ear. How hard was it to talk to your parents?

Lilypaw laughed a little bit. "Oh, if only you knew." She told him. "But I'll tell you one day, I promise. Now, would you like to do anything? I'm completely free for the day, so I need to full up my time with something."

"Alrighty, swimming it is!" He skipped ahead and pushed through the exit. "I was planning on going to the river, unless you wanted somewhere shallower like the stream."

"That sounds like fun." Lilypaw purred. "The river is fine. Are you sure you're old enough though? I don't want you getting swept into the current, that wouldn't be good. Safety is important, so it's okay you want to go to a stream."

Skypaw gasped. That was rude. "I'm an IceClanner! I think I know how to swim!" He shot her a look and kept walking. He didn't look that young, did he? The tom puffed out his light fur. I'm not so little!

Lilypaw blinked, shrugging. Someone has his fur in a twist... It's okay to be a little younger. "I'm only asking since it seems like you haven't been an apprentice for too long." She explained. "I didn't know whether or not you've swam before. It's okay if you haven't, just let me know."

Skypaw shrugged and took a few turns. He wasn't gonna let this apprentice drag him down! "We're almost there." He ignored her explanation and tried to keep a cheery mood.

Lilypaw followed Skypaw through the territory, hoping to get to the water soon. It sounded so refreshing. "Can't wait." She told him. "Have you given any thought to your warrior name?"

Skypaw purred. "Lilyheart isn't bad." He nodded at her comment and quickened his pace. The river was only a few more badger-lengths away. "C'mon Lily-Lily! We're here!" The ground under paw became dirt and pebbles, and he splashed right on in. "Brr!"
