Lilypaw walked into the IceClan camp, looking around. She wanted to make another friend or two, since she didn't truly know that many people in the clan. She also wanted to talk to some others that she already knew, but it was time to meet more people. I wonder who I'll meet. She wondered. I hope they're nice.

Skypaw tumbled out of the apprentice's den, nearly crashing into a warrior. He ran across the clearing, skidding to a halt as he reached another cat. One that was an apprentice. An apprentice I haven't met? Sweet! His blue gaze brightened up as he focused on Lilypaw. "Hi there!"

[Lilypaw]

Lilypaw heard a new voice next to her, and she turned to see Skypaw. "Hi." She mewed with a smile. 'Aw, he's so little and cute!' She thought to herself. 'New apprentices are always like that, so adorable!' Lilypaw sat down. "I'm Lilpaw, what's your name?"

Skypaw grinned and sat across from her. "Lilypaw? What a nice name!" He purred. It was a pretty name, although this cat didn't look like a flower. "I'm Skypaw. Did your mother name you after a lily because they're pretty like you?"

[Lilypaw]

"Er..." Lilypaw shuffled her paws uncomfortably. "I don't know why she did. I guess she just liked the name, and I do too. It's nice to meet you Skypaw, you have a nice name too by the way." She looked up at him, waiting for a reply.

Skypaw tilted his head in confusion as she hesitated. Was something wrong? "Well your mother must have been nice to give you such a lovely name!" He thumped his tail against the ground. "Who's your mentor?"

[Lilypaw]

"Not really." Lilypaw admitted. "I'm not too fond of my mom. As for my mentor, I haven't seen them around for a while so I'm going to have to get a new one." She mewed. "Not too big of a deal, but I'd like to start training again soon."

"What? Why not? I can't imagine not being close to my mother!" Skypaw nodded as she went on. "A lot of apprentices have been saying that lately. I hope you can find a new one soon!"

[Lilypaw]

"Yeah, I'd like a new one." Lilypaw agreed. "My mom and I just have too many differences and I don't respect her at all. She doesn't deserve it, to be honest. I don't ever see her anyway, she was never around for me, so she doesn't know how I feel, but it doesn't matter."

He frowned. "Well that's no good. You two should talk again sometime." Skypaw yawned and dug his claws into the ground. "So, what've you been up to lately? Played any games? Met any new friends?"

[Lilypaw]

"I'm not talking to her." Lilypaw shook her head. "It's impossible. And she has no respect for the warrior code.." She sighed. "I haven't really been doing anything lately. I came out here to meet some new cats, and I met you."

"Nothing's impossible." He frowned as she continued. "You sound disappointed. Were you wanting to meet someone else?" Skypaw looked around. "I can leave, if you wanted to meet a warrior or a different apprentice."

[Lilypaw]

"No, you're completely fine." Lilypaw replied. "Stay, I'm fine. And it is impossible, because I'd be a traitor if I met her." She shrugged and gave her paw a lick, drawing it over her ear. 'He just doesn't understand.' She thought. 'I can never see my mother again, not that I want to.'

"Alright then. But still, I say it is possible. She's here in IceClan, right?" He paused. "Even if you don't talk to one parent, you probably have a good relationship with your father I assume."

[Lilypaw]

"Uhh..." Lilypaw shuffled her paws, uncomfortable. "No, I don't have a good relationship with either of them, and I'm not going to. It just isn't possible Skypaw, you don't understand. Maybe you will one day, once I know you better."
