PetalfurSoftkit walked out of the nursery and a scent similar to her own caught her attention. She followed a trail until she saw a cat that shares the scent. "Hello?" She said, her tone making it more of a question.

Petalfur turned, distracted from her thoughts. "Softkit?" She purred, smiling and turning on her haunches. One of her three kits had approached, and a mother never forgets who her kin is. "What's the matter, dear?"

Softkit shrugged. "Nothing really. I just gets really, really boring in the nursery. There's never anything to do." She replied. It was true. She spent most of her time watching the clouds and that can get pretty boring after a while. She hadn't really met her mother... At least not in the times that she still remembered. It would be nice to get to know her own mom. She would eventually meet her father. In her mind he was a busy warrior, but she knew they would meet soon. "How've you been?" She asked. She didn't really know what else to say.

The Bengal sighed. She remembered what it felt like to be a kit: bored. Petalfur had been a pretty sensitive kit when she was Petalkit. Ashfrost and Tigerfrost, two toms that grew close to her, one being her mate and one a really close friend, often made her upset at the littlest things.
Petalfur shook the thoughts away, her mind seemingly drifting again. "I'm well," She lied. Truth was, she was bored out of her mind. "I mean, I do miss my warrior duties, but it's nice to get a break." She smiled and attempted to playfully swipe her kit over the ears. "You'll be begging for a break when you're an apprentice!"

Softkit shrugged. "Maybe i will, but it will be better than this." she said, vowing in her mind that she would never complain when she was an apprentice.

Petalfur nodded, then laughed "You may not be thinking that when you have yo check the enders - maybe even me! - for ticks!" The thought of the elders reminded the Bengal of Maplefrost, the only elder she knew all that well at all. She hadn't seen him since he had assigned her an apprentice. She decided that she should speak to him soon.
"So what do you think of your siblings? Have you even spoken to them since you opened your eyes?" Sorry if this looks wierd. My phone displays proboards oddly Template by Meg❤ |

Softkit shrugged. "I've spoken to Snowkit, but I haven't seen the others around." She replied. "I will find them all before I am an apprentice and speak to them." She added.
(It's fine, I only really play on my phone... Or sometimes on my kindle which is only worse so I understand.)
