@maplefrost
Lilypaw walked into the elder's den, a fish in her mouth. She was there to see an old friend; Maplefrost. She felt a little bad, she hadn't come to visit him since spring. I hope he's good, She thought. With his health and everything.. I wish I knew more about how he was doing! I won't let myself be so distant again, I need to stay current with everything. "Maplefrost?" She called out. "It's Lilypaw."

MAPLEFROST OF ICECLAN Sometimes, Maplefrost was half-convinced that the only cat who actually cared about him anymore was this apprentice.
Windflurry hadn't been around for quite a while, which worried him, but there wasn't much he could do aside from speaking to Robinfrost and maybe getting the deputy to organize a search. A blind elder wasn't really someone who could go looking for a missing cat. In the back of his mind, the calico hoped that his mate was just busy somewhere else, but he wasn't sure where she might be.
Those were worries for another time, though. "Afternoon, Lilypaw," Maplefrost greeted from where he'd been sitting. "Been a little while. Training keeping you busy?" WORDS: 112 || WRITTEN FOR: Lilypaw NOTES - n/a template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

"Yeah I guess training has kept me pretty busy," She admitted. "But my mentor has disappeared, so I had to get a new one.. Other than that I haven't had much going on, so I'm sorry I haven't visited in a while." Lilypaw picked the fish back up and walked over to Maplefrost, setting it down in front of him. "I thought you might be hungry, so I brought you this."

MAPLEFROST OF ICECLAN "That's a shame. Cats disappear too often nowadays. When I was still an apprentice, it wasn't too much of a problem - I didn't need to switch mentors even once. But anyway; don't worry about it. I've got plenty to amuse myself with." Which wasn't true, exactly, but he didn't want to burden the apprentice with his many problems.
Sniffing the air, Maplefrost realized that the fish-scent was indeed coming from nearby. He'd just assumed that a whiff of it had blown into the den when a hunting patrol came back. "Ah, you remember my favorite. Thanks," the elder purred as he dragged the fish closer and took a bite.
"So are you looking for a story today?" WORDS: 117 || WRITTEN FOR: Lilypaw NOTES - n/a template by Margie @ Adoxography v2
