Cookie almost jumped as Panda bristled with the memory, scrutinizing her fur as her sister let out a shaky breath and then shaking her head, pausing as she saw Panda stiffen, and opened her jaw, frowning slightly as the Two-Leg scent flooded her mouth.

"What do we do?" she asked, concernedly eyeing the crates again.

[Panda]

[no... just compare yours to mine]

Panda was the older sibling--so she had to get them out of this mess. "Back outside, now!" she hissed, hoping not to scare, or startle Cookie.

She made sure Cookie got to the little door before her, then fled out after her. Concern now evident upon Panda's face, she searched Cookie's, to see if she was holding her own.

Though, she didn't want to take any risks, and signaled to a large area of bushes in the two-legs yard. Their mission for food was unsuccessful, and her hunger was growing worse by the minute. Luckily, she'd had another cat teach her how to hunt. Not that she wanted to... but it, to her personally, sounded millions times tastier than hard, kibble bits.

(WHOOPS i thought i answered why didn't you bother me about it)

Cookie felt her heart bunch up, skittering outside after Panda, and followed her to the bush, panting a little bit. "So what do we do?" she asked, her belly grumbling, disappointed.

She couldn't lose it in-front of Cookie! Gesturing toward the fence with her tail, Panda jumped up onto the fence, then waited for her sister to do the same. (waits)

Once they'd made it over the fence, she racked her brain for past meetings and 'training sessions' with Lynx. She knew how to hunt now! Too bad she never had the time to teach Cookie. (for some reason LYNX isn't an account anymore) With that, she cast a glance back at the two-legs house, and sped off toward the forest.

[Cookie]

"Wait!" Cookie stumblingly leaped onto the fence, pausing for a moment to regain her balance while Panda jumped down. As soon as she had, Cookie toppled off, landing in a bush and scrambling to her feet.

"We're running away?" she asked in a slight gasp as she scrambled back over to Panda. "Where are we going?"

[maybe our cats should spend some time as rogues first?]

She'd heard of the so-called "clans," but she wasn't sure if either of them were ready. Lynx had shown her many things, and Panda wanted to introduce them to Cookie. They would come in handy often now, and if they needed food, she knew how to hunt.

"Cookie," she began, "I think we should join the clans, but I want to show you a couple things first. If you're not for the life, I'll find us a place to stay... excluding our old home." She searched Cookie's face for something, her olive-colored eyes serious. "If you're okay with this... I already have a place in mind."

[Cookie]

(oooh yeah OKAY what clan are we joining we need to like have a ting set up)

Cookie sat, still as a rock as Panda gently laid down what she was thinkin. Cookie's nose twitched, and her eyes widened slightly at her first sentences. For the first time she could remember, no words floated behind her eyes, prepared to emerge, monotonous, into still air. She made a quiet little sound in her throat and then decided against it, looking down and scratching at the stiff soil.

"Okay," she said after a minute. "Okay, that's okay. Where--" She paused, looked up, and back down. "Where is it?"

[Panda]

Panda paused. "I'm not entirely sure," she began. "I mean I am sure, I just don't know the exact place..." trailing off hesitantly.

"But, I do know where we're going for now (too lazy for italics)." Hopefully, her sister would just try trust her for now. That was all she could do, anyways.

[Cookie]

(RIGHT i knew that and wooaahhh nice)

"All right." Cookie tightened her mouth, then popped it open, tasting the air and all it's unfamiliar scents. "Then--then let's go!" She took off forward, almost immediately tripping over a rock and straightening herself up quickly without a change in her demeanor.

(hold up I DIDNT RESPOND? ha, whoops)

Panda purred. She was really looking forward to showing Cookie the new lifestyle... perhaps it would fit her well, who knew. Padding forward to meet her sisters' side, she replied with an enthusiastic mew.

"Yes, lets!"

(good thread ending? also do we have to ask to switch to rogues?)

(nah, rogue isn't an official status, you kinda just move around.)

Noting her sister's enthusiasm, Cookie gave a little up-down hop, and followed her away from their home.
