EarthBlossom waited quietly. The sun was setting soon and she enjoyed watching it. Then she saw Freezepaw and smiled. "Hi. Wanna chat?" She asked warmly. Freezefeather

Freezepaw was lounging around as usual.
His thoughts fairly clear, the usual things going through it. His observations, his reflection on these observations, the status of his relationships. He had a... Unique sort of friendship with Azaleapaw. Things were possible with Flamepaw. He was fairly sure Sunsetpaw didn't like him much. Lionstrike certainly seemed to dislike his outward lazy demeanor. Typical, yet another cat who fails to see past the exterior. He noticed many cats did that.
He lazily looked up towards the cat towering over him. It was a female warrior he didn't know. He blinked slowly, a look on disinterest present of his face. Being rushed out of his thoughts, he didn't exactly hear what the she-cat had said. He guessed it was a greeting. "Can I help you with something?" He asked, sounding bored.

She rolled her eyes. "I said do you wanna chat? And it'd be more polite to say hello whrn you adress a warrior." Earthblossom swayed on her large paws and sat down with a wince. "So. How are you?" Asked the calm tabby.

Freezepaw blinked slowly and with obvious laziness.
"I don't have to be polite to anyone aside from obvious sources of authority such as the medicine cats, queens, deputy, and leader." He replied, not really interesting in Earthblossom. She seemed boring. He turned away and yawned. Laying his head down and curling up. "I want to chill."

"I find you very... Interesting. Somebody I'd like to be friends with. But thats too ambitious and ambitions are worthless." She softly said. She knew he disliked dreams and ambitions, etc. Trying to play along was hard but she was desperate to make new friends.

Freezepaw lifted his head and stared at her, scrutinizingly.
This cat was extremely suspicious. Yet, the bored look on his face remained. He yawned and lowered his head back down. He wasn't sure, but he was pretty sure the warrior was lying. Not enough evidence to confirm completely.... But it was clear she wanted a friend. Thus, it made sense that she thought in order to befriend him, she had to mimic his behaviors. Obviously false, he didn't enjoy dishonesty. Further, he wasn't of the opinion that ambitions were worthless. He hadn't scorned his friend, Azaleapaw's ambitions. He simply thought them for himself to be a waste of time. Setting an unrealistic expectation for yourself, was practically setting yourself up for failure. Failure lead to general lowering of self-image.
"You don't simply ask to be someone's friend." He meowed, speaking up.

The tabby lifted her nose slightly. "I was like you as an apprentice," she sighed quite loudly, "Only I was a little more... Active? Still. I hear you and AzaeliaPaw are close... Im quite fond of her mother actually... Anyway I must be going now, I have a meeting with FawnSpring." She flicked her striped tail and hesitantly padded away.

Freezepaw growled softly, his expression attentive and cold.
Earthblossom knew a little bit much about him. From anyone else, it should look like Freezepaw was a lazy apprentice who frequently and inadvertently annoyed the more dedicated, ambitious apprentice Azaleapaw. He knew that. They had a strange friendship. Yet it worked. He didn't like how this warrior knew things. Was she a stalker? Quite possibly. It sounded like she was desperate for friends. Why else would she approach an apprentice, instead of the likely more relatable to her, warriors that were her age? He was quite glad when she left.
He yawned again, the disinterested look returned. The female warrior looked to make herself seem relatable and obviously of a solid reputation. Well... He wasn't buying it. He preferred Azaleapaw's company... By a lot.
