Frostkit walked into the elder's den slowly. "Hello? Is anyone there?" In the corner, Frostkit could see a huge lump twitching in it's nest. I hope I didn't wake them up. "Can I have a story? I heard they were really good."

Maplefrost let out a disgruntled and half-muffled noise when the shrill squeak of a kit's voice reached his ears. For CloudClan's sake… what time is it? I was sleeping.
He reluctantly pulled himself into a sitting position, then turned his cloudy green eyes towards the young visitor. "What's all this about a story? I hope you've brought me breakfast if you want something out of me."

You got two lives down and one life left Redkit watched as a kitten's tail disappeared into the elder's den. A sudden intriguement washed over him, and he wondered what the inside of the den looked like. And a hearing one of the famed stories didn't sound half-bad either. Struck by an idea, the chubby tom trotted over to the fresh-kill pile and nudged a decent sized fish over his head, managing to roughly drape it's semi-warm body across his back. It was much heavier than Redkit expected, and the chubby ginger's knee's almost buckled under the weight. "Just gotta make it to the elder's den," he whispered encouragingly to himself, dragging his small fish-covered body towards the den. By the time he made it to the entrance a conversation between the owner of the tail he had seen earlier and a slightly familiar-looking elder had taken place. "--o've brought me breakfast if you want something out of me," Redkit smirked triumphantly. He hadn't picked up the scent of prey from the den earlier, so he had assumed it's residents would be hungry. He was glad to have a confirmation though, after dragging a fish all the way to the den. "Did somebody say breakfast?" Redkit mewled lightheartedly, his usually scratchy voice a little more strained as his legs wobbled a bit.

"Hey! I wanted the story!" Frostkit exclaimed, looking at her paws. She didn't like this kit interrupting her and her plans to hear a story. Then she had an idea. "I'll be back soon!" She called from behind her back.

Luckily, Frostkit was saved the wrath of a hungry Maplefrost when a second kitten walked in with food. The elder gave an appreciative sniff. Was that fish? Word must have gotten around that it was his favorite; he'd eaten fish for seasons and never got tired of it.
"Indeed," purred Maple once Redkit had spoken. "Why don't you set that down over here?" He gestured towards a clear space in front of his nest, figuring that this would give both kittens plenty of space to gather around. Before the blind cat could do anything else, though, the first youngster had scampered off.
He flicked one tattered ear. "Eh? Where's she gone off to? Both of you could listen to the story at once… but anyway. What's your name?" Maplefrost asked Redkit.
(Frostkit, please delete your second post. I'm ignoring it for the sake of my post above. Replying to a thread more than once in a row counts as spam - you should check the site rules if you haven't, and edit your first post in the future if you want to add things in. Make sure not to powerplay though… wait for me to respond instead of saying that Maplefrost started the story when he hasn't yet. Thank you!)

You got two lives down and one life left Redkit gave a grunt of acknowledgment and shuffled over to where the Elder had wanted his food laid, letting the scaly prey slide off his body and in front of the older tom. "Figured some fish might be 'ppreciated," the ginger spoke, jumping back so he wouldn't disturb anyone when he reverently shook his pelt, trying to get the scent off his spine. He hardly noticed when Frostkit went racing out of the den. "She was probably too intimidated by my mighty radiance to sit in the same den together," the kitten mused before answering Maplefrost's question, a cheeky smile slipping onto his features, "I'm Redkit. You seem familiar, Maple... something... right?" the young tom said, trying to grasp at the name. It wasn't as if there were a plethora of Elders to choose from, "Maplefrost, I think?"
