Rabbitpaw opened his eyes drearily and looked around to see that no other apprentices were in the den. It felt like he had been sleeping for moons! He stretched his legs out cautiously and found them very stiff. He stood up and swayed on his paws. He went outside and squinted as rays of sunlight bathed him. He looked around and the clearing seemed so different... Everyone seemed older and taller...
( Basically just saying I'm still alive and am coming back from innactivity and hope to be Role playing more frequently This thread wasn't really meant for roleplay but if you would like to build off this you can PM me)

[dude, your posts need a boost potion of sorts and HAI]
Dappledpaw was snacking on a small fish when Rabbitpaw walked out of the apprentices den. Her eyes widened, and her jaw dropped. Gulping down the fish, she practically sprung five feet from where she'd been eating, and bounded towards her old friend. Chatter-box mode had activated.
"Oh. My. God." she gasped, then commented, "One, how long have you been sleeping beauty?" Then added, "Two. Hi, how's it going? We should explore outside camp, and stuff!" It had been ages since she'd spoken to him. Luckily, she'd stayed in contact with her other kithood friend, Oakpaw.

(Omg you scrub cats don't say feet its tail lengths jeez xD. )
Rabbitpaw gasped as he saw his friend Dappledpaw and was dumbfounded and had no idea what to say when she bombarded him with questions. " Oh hi Dappledpaw! I've been uh... sleeping for a long time haven't I? " Rabbitpaw said awkwardly. He couldn't help but notice how she had gotten taller. He had too though and they could see eye to eye. " I'd love to go explore outside or stuff! " Rabbitpaw replied. He remembered that he must've lost a lot of training time with his mentor Coalfoot and reminded himself to try and find her later.

[whateverrrr]
It was like the tom was just apprenticed. He was hardly any taller, and Dappledpaw grinned. Though they were similar heights, the feeling of being as tall as him was satisfactory alone. "Yes... you have." she responded slowly.
"I know a stream near camp!" she mewed excitedly. She could finally show him around! It didn't seem that he'd learned much, as his mentor was incredibly neglected due to his inactivity 'abnormal' napping phase. Hopefully it only happened once.
Padding toward the entrance of the camp, she waited for him to catch up, then they headed out. Small talk was optional if he couldn't handle the silence on the walk, and maybe, just maybe, they could hunt and/or fish.

( gonna tag in-die-a or naw?)
" Sure lets go! " Rabbitpaw said and waited for Dappledpaw to lead the way since he had never been. "Want to try and catch some fish?" Rabbitpaw asked. He hadn't been taught how to fish yet by his mentor but he thought it would be a good idea to try.

Dappledpaw padded down a small trail that lead off from a battle training area, and once they'd made their way to the stream, it took her a moment to register he - Rabbitpaw himself, suggested that they could go fishing.
The cool breeze that blew over the small clearing was like a slap in the face, and she jumped - unintentionally so, but then turned to him. "Oh, right, yeah of course!" He probably hadn't been taught yet either.
Once she found a nice spot, shaded under a patch of trees, but light enough to see any fish, she signaled for him to watch her. "First," she mewed, while staring intently at the surface of the water, "you need patience." To sum it up, she added, "Also, you'll have to be quick. Use your paw to scoop the fish up quickly, then give it a swift nip to the neck." [if that applies to fish] "Simple really." she said.
Moments later, a movement in the water caught her eye, and she shot her paw into the water. Claws unsheathed, she managed to scoop the fish out of the water, then nipped it quietly. After placing it on a stone, shaded away from the sun, to prevent it from drying out, she turned to him. "Your turn!" she exclaimed.
[maybe when she's not swamped...]

( oh wow show off jeez. Chokes on beetle* dies* )
" Oh uh my turn? " Rabbitpaw asked awkwardly. " So I just wait and look? " Rabbitpaw asked. He stared intently at the water and kept low on his haunches and his claws sheathed. He saw a slight glimmer in the water and plunged his paw towards it. He scooped out a huge fish and it flopped out of his paw onto his face and continued to flap down onto his back, knocking him face first into the stream. " Pffffttthhhh!" Rabbitpaw spat as his head emerged from the water and he scrabbled onto the bank of the stream. He watched as the fish continued to flap on the grass uselessly. He padded over towards it and nipped its neck quickly to put it out of its misery. Rabbitpaw turned to Dappledpaw and saw her trying to stifle a purr. " Oh shush Dappledpaw!" Rabbitpaw said, embarrassed. He padded over to her and flicked his tail in her face.

[silence fool]
"Uh, yes your turn genius." she scoffed, then waited. Though, soon afterwards, he caught a fair sized fish! She intended to congratulate the tom when he fell face first into the stream. She tried to stifle a laugh, only to fall over onto her back, laughing hysterically. "Whew... great job."
As soon as she rose to her paws, although still wiping 'fictional' tears from her brown eyes, she felt a fluffy tail slap her in the face, and she swatted it away in surprise. Now she was bored. Could the clan use some prey for the fresh kill pile? Of course!
"So, want to go hunting?" she asked, "I know a good place my mentor showed me!" Lastly though... she intended to find the tom a mentor. He needed one, and he needed one desperately. "And once/if we finish hunting, we'll find you a mentor."
