|| Brokenpaw || Pepperpaw padded into the apprentice's den, feeling bored out of his mind. When would Tigerlily take him out training? Hm. Maybe she's just trying to teach me patience. I hope that's the case. He thought, settling down in his nest and grumbling to himself.
He looked around the den, wanting to see what was going on. It was pretty quiet. Was anyone else even in here? He squinted, trying to get a better look at what was across the den. Was that a cat? "Yo."

| Brokenpaw slouched against the side the apprentice's den, slurping up the last bite of a lizard. He had found that the scaly creatures were way better than squirrel-- he wondered why more cat's didn't eat them. Squirrels were chewy and covered in fur that was only every a hassle to pick out of your teeth. Lizards on the other hand were crunchy and stringy and all together totally awesome. The tom ran his tongue of his muzzle as he finished the snack off, now having to even wonder what he was going to to next because a voice from across the den called to him.
Blinking, Brokenpaw turned his amber gaze on the other apprentice. A toothy smile slipped onto his face, showing off his infamous broken tooth, and he jumped to his paws and trotted over to the other tom.
"Sup," the tabby greeted with a confident nod of the head, "I am the AWESOME Brokenpaw," the apprentice mewled dramatically, a lively glint in his amber eyes as he sent the stranger a playful wink, "and what do you choose to call yourself?" | |

Pepperpaw rolled his eyes as the tom padded over. "Oh, the awesome Brokenpaw? What makes you so great?" He hopped up on all fours and tilted his head. "Well, I'm the perfect Pepperpaw!" He talked very quickly. "Why do they call you Brokenpaw? You don't look broken to me." He said, beginning to pad around the tabby tom. Maybe he's mentally broken. Pepperpaw shook that thought away. How could you be mentally broken?
Now he was behind the apprentice. Brokenpaw still didn't look broken. His yellow eyes went to Brokenpaw's tail. Was that broken? Snickering, Pepperpaw whipped his paw out and tried to slam it against his acquaintance's tail. "Didya feel that? Is it your tail that's broken?" He bent down and sniffed it. "What a shame."
Sighing, the mottled tom padded around Brokenpaw so that he was at his front again. "Hmp. Y'know, I don't like that so many people call you "broken". So y'know what? I'm gonna call you the opposite of broken! Fixed!" He grinned and puffed out his chest, pretty satisfied with his nicknaming skills. "So Fixed, tell me 'bout yourself."
