RowanskyMoonkit sat lazily by the fresh-kill pile, eating a plump mouse. She stared at the pile of dead animals and shrugged, might as well take something to her mother, save the lazy apprentices some work. After she had disposed of her mouse, she quickly grabbed a sparrow off the pile and walked to the nursery. She spotted her mother rather quickly and padded towards her, "Hey mom." She said as she set down the bird in front of the queen.

Rowansky wandered the den, stretching her tired legs. She had been busy all day helping the apprentices clean the den all that morning, and the ginger queen spent the afternoon playing a multitude of games with the kits. Her green eyes were bright and alert, a smile on her face, but it was obvious from the invisible weight on her shoulders that she was beginning to tire out. Her ears perked at the familiar sound of her daughter's voice. "Oh, hello, Moonkit! How sweet of you to bring me this," she purred gratefully, licking the she-kit's forehead. The sight of the prey had her stomach rumbling. "How have you been today? Met anyone new?" she conversed, plucking the feathers off of the sparrow. |

The tiny kit smiled back at her mother, "Eh, I'm good, but I'm bored now that my er... Friend redpaw is an apprentice." She meowed. She didn't really want to tell the queen about her rival-like relationship with the older kit, saying that how they met was rather weird, like batman and joker. "How's your day..?" She asked as she started grooming her poofy kit fluff.

rowansky picked out the last of the bird's feathers. she sunk her teeth into the meat, listening intently to moonkit. "oh, i'm sorry, sweetie. but i'm sure you can hang out with your brothers and sisters, and there are still some kits here you can play with," she mewed. "i'm doing fine! a little tired from moving around since this morning, but it's nothing a tiny nap won't fix." |

Moonkit smiled, "Good your well. But I might as well wait til I'm an apprentice to start meeting people." She said. "And what's it like, being showered in kits?" The kit added, her smile becoming a smirk. Hey, she had the right to tease.
