Adderkit was sick of it all. Getting told what to do by cats that weren't even his real parents, getting yelled at by that dumb calico elder, and worst of all, being confined to camp just because of his age. What was even the point? He'd been further than most of these cats would even dream of venturing, and that was back before he could walk.
Growling under his breath, the pale tabby rolled over in his nest and nudged his brother. "I don't like it here."

Viperkit yawned, looking over at his brother. "Why?" Well Viperkit wasn't too fond of it either. He'd been bossed around by cats, been set up boundaries and limits he didn't want to follow, as well as rules. All he wanted to do was explore with his brother! Was that too much to ask? "Is it because of the bossy cats?" He asked curiously.
He flattened his ears.

"Partially. Everyone here also just listens to rules made up by some dead cats. Why don't they try to change stuff that doesn't work anymore?" With an irritated twitch of his tail, Adder sat up. He cast a longing glance at the nursery entrance. Even when they were allowed to leave camp, he was pretty sure they'd be constantly supervised.

"Dead? Wow.. That sounds kinda dumb!"[/] He shook his head. "Can't they figure things out for themselves?" Viperkit snorted, rolling his eyes. "I bet were gonna be stalked by pesky warriors when we try and leave. They probably are required to follow you everywhere." He sighed. He really didn't want to have to deal with that. He at least wanted some freedom.
"I just want to leave camp and look around without being hassled about it."

He made a rather discontented noise in the back of his throat. "It is dumb. I don't think we get to explore on our own until we're warriors, and even then, we can't leave the mountains! It was never like this before… I want to go home."
