Noire led Waterfall, the pack's herbalist out of the camp, and into the hunting grounds. Noire and Luna, her pack leader, had just recently exchanged not-so-friendly words with the other pack who lived on these lands. She wouldn't stand to see her newcomers bleed, just because some stupid rivalry with a pack of chickens. It was redundant, and it would be messy. She'd give her life for the three new wolves, Kiche, Waterfall and Cana. Once they'd arrived at the hunting grounds, she woofed, "Waterfall, today we will be discussing battle techniques and training; battle training. Afterwards, we'll cool off a bit with some hunting." First she'd like to see what this wolf was capable of. "So, I'll need you to face me, one on one, and try some new or old battle moves, or techniques." Waterfall

"Okay...." Waterfall said unsurely. "But I was never good at battle at all though...."

Noire smiled softly at the she-wolf. "Don't underestimate yourself, darling!" she woofed. Hopefully she didn't intimidate her; after all a pack rank was only a label, it rarely showed any actual type of skill.
She lowered her voice, speaking slowly and carefully now. "Look... we could potentially be at war, at any time..." she trailed off, then continued, "I do not want to lose any new pack members. I'll be one of the first to fall if anything." she said, her voice serious, though her gaze softened. "What I'm saying is: this is why I'm helping you."
She readied herself, and lowered into a defensive crouch. "You attack first." she woofed. Once they were done with that, she would try defensive.

Waterfall nodded, and stalked silently into the bushes, carfuly circling Noire. Suddenly, she launched herself into the air, and landed gently on the older wolf's back, then she gently pretended to loose her balence and let Noire think she could get on her belly. But realy, she'd push Noire over. To bad that was the only clever move she knew.

Noire let the female she-wolf stalk away, then soon afterwards, she was attacked from the side. She loosed her muscles a bit as the female jumped on her back, and instead of getting onto her belly, she rolled over, then pinned Waterfall. "Instead of loosening your grip to trick me, loosen in in case your opponent tries to flip you over, or roll your over, like I did." she barked. "Want me to show you a couple moves?"
