(permission was granted <3 Willowpool Crowwing) Hazelpaw felt bad, but he couldn't help. He ran straight into camp and into the medicine cat's den, panting, pain in his eyes. I'm going to die... this hurts so bad.. why, the tabby yowled, throwing himself on his side, hoping, hoping his friend made it to camp safely. He took a glance at his half-gone tail, still bloody. He let out a low screech, hoping he'd get cured soon. (Got his tail chopped in a trap and half of it is.. still in the trap or whatever<3)

aww dang, we had an incident like this before and I didn't know what to do. xD
Crowwing's pelt bristled at the terrible sound. What in Cloudclan's name? Hazelpaw! The medicine cat ran over the to apprentice's side with wet moss in his mouth. "Drink this." he quickly said before giving an examination. Ick. What'd happened to his tail? 'It's just like Thrushfang all over again.'
Comfrey, thyme, and cobwebs would do for now. "I'll be right back, I promise," Crowwing whispered into the apprentice's ear before going back to the back where the inventory was.

(Oh really? Well.. I've done medicine cat stuff before, I don't really know either)
Hazelpaw felt more relieved as Crowwing came by, giving him some water. He tried to lick some of the moss up without shaking, he was in pain, but was glad it wasn't anything else other than half his tail. I.. I better heal quickly. He looked up at the medicine cat, trusting him, since his rank. He doesn't really seem to do his own things, he rather gets the job done.. he thought, and nodded a few short times.

In the back, Crowwing rummaged the den for the materials he was looking for. Finding the comfrey, the tom started to chew on the roots for a remedy that would be applied to the tail and carried out the thyme leaves and cobwebs with him.
"I suggest you to bite onto this," he said, nudging a stick towards the apprentice. Sure, it was something often given to the queens, but certainly what he was about to do was going to hurt. "I'm going to clean up your wound and then close it up."

Hazelpaw Hazelpaw trembled, watching him gather herbs and stuff he really didn't care about usually. As he came back, he brought a stick, glaring up at him, he held it firmly in his jaws, waiting for his tail to feel like it's melting.

Thank Cloudclan for Hazelpaw's obedience.
The medicine cat began to apply the poultice of the comfrey roots onto Hazelpaw's wound. 'That looks pretty disgusting. I wonder how.' Once that was done, he used the thyme, and lastly patched cobwebs onto the remains of the tail stump.
"Right. You'd stay in the den with me for the day and then after that we'd see your condition."

Hazelpaw Hazelpaw growled a bit, digging his teeth into the branch as the medicine stuff was applied, making small teeth marks on the wood. The tabby decided to drop the stick and put his face to the ground, sighing. "But... the entire rest of the day? What about.." he said suddenly, frowning a bit through the pained face.

Crowwing chuckled when the apprentice decided to protest his request. "Firebird will understand," he nodded. "One of her best friends as an apprentice - Foxpaw, now Foxclaw - was stuck with me for a while too. For now, you should rest. You need your energy, but if you want, you can get something to eat then come back."

Hazelpaw Hazelpaw moaned, not wanting to stay. Well.. hopefully it's just one day, he thought, blinking. He curled up and heard of Foxclaw's similar way. He curled up tighter and blinked his amber eyes, not feeling very hungry. He then felt a sting of guilt, his face a bit more loose, Oh... I still hope she's okay.

Notes - I know I probably shouldn't maybe posting in the assessment thread Firebird and I have, but the day these two threads were posted were 7 days apart, so... I guess that's fine?..
