Nyx paced back and forth until her apprentice(trainee), Flight, arrived at their training hollow. As soon as the she-pup(?) arrived, she gave a wag of her tail and trotted in her direction.
"Flight, darling!" she barked, cocking her head in an odd manner. "Are you ready to begin your training?" She was crazy, essentially, but she intended to protect the she-pup. |

Flight woke up quickly and scramble to her paws. She was being trained today! She was determined to try her hardest, she would have to if they were going to fight another pack. Flight rushed into the training hollow and scampered to her mentor, wagging her fluffy tail. "I'm ready Nyx!!" she yapped in excitement.

Nyx smiled at the pup as she wagged her fluffy tail in excitement. It was good she was looking forward to training; it was important and vital to a pup's whole existence, really.
"All right, darling!" she barked, grinning. "Let's begin with battle training, shall we?" she inquired. They would hunt afterward anyways. Step one, be outgoing and brave! "I want you to give me all you've got!" she barked, again. "3, 2, 1, attack!" This pup also needed not to be reluctant. |

"Ok!" Flight woofed, feeling excited. She loved Nyx, and knew that battle training was important since they were going to fight another pack. So she would try her hardest! Flight crouched low to the ground, and pounced directly at her mentor.

Sliding to the left, she rolled away, then jumped back onto her paws. "Good!" she exclaimed. "Try to keep lower to the ground most of the time though... as you're more exposed in mid-air." |
