My head shot upwards as I heard a familiar voice, bits of moss and feathers dangling from my ears. I quickly shook off the nesting material and bounding like a fawn across the den to Sapphirepaw's side. "Hi!" I squeaked, bearing a winning smile. I still couldn't believe we were both apprentices. I mean--apprentices. That was... that was awesome! "I tried to make my own nest! But I'm not very good at it... want to put your's next to mine?" I waved a tail towards where I had been a moment before, where scattered pieces of moss shown the spot I had been attempting to work at. |

Saphirepaw tilted her head then nodded."Ok,I'll put it to the right of you."She said makeing her way over she had grabbed some moss before heading into the den to make her nest. She spread it out adding a few feathers to it then turned her head."So you excited?"She asked.

I nodded quickly, glad Sapphirepaw was taking up my offer. I smiled. "Yeah! I'm really excited for training with Harmonysong and Olivepaw!" I purred. |

I considered those words. Be more mature? Sure, we were older... but did we really have to change our personality too? "Well, no... I mean, I'm just going to act the way I want to." I shrugged. |

I thought about that, and then shrugged. "I mean, I know Olivepaw. And he's pretty cool. But not really anyone else... yet." I added that last part with a mischievous smirk. |

At that, I was utterly confused. "Hm...m?" Kits? Wait, did the leader or deputy make that choice already? But... I was too young to have kits! And Olivepaw is my friend... why would I have kits with my friend?! Isn't that sick? Or, no... cats do... but then they aren't your friend anymore! No one has kits with some cat and says, 'Oh, yeah, that's my friend over there. They had my kits.' So then would her and Olivepaw not be friends anymore? She didn't want that!!
"What? Sapphirepaw, you have to help me, then! I don't want kits with Olivepaw, because then he won't be my friend anymore!" I cried, already feeling tears threaten to break loose. "What if he knows the leader chose us? Does he hate me already? Sapphirepaw, why didn't you tell me sooner? I don't want kits!" |

Saphirepaw raised her eye in surprise at the outburst of her friend. Did she take it seriously? She laughed a bit as Sweetpaw almost cried."No,No I was messing with you your not haveing kits!And you choose who you have kits with not the leader!"She laughed.
