Rift smiled. She had forgotten about the Clans pathetic rules, well, almost. How ridiculous it was, that they couldn't kill another cat? What if that cat was trying to kill you? "Oh yeah, those pathetic rules. I suppose its against their 'warrior code'" Rift slyly meowed. Silly Clan cats. They thought CloudClan could protect them from everything. Wrong.

Sock chuckled a little at the mention of their Warrior Code. He had forgotten about what that was called. He was about to ask her another question when he heard a noise that made his ears swivel. His head turned to see the other animal he had wanted to hunt. It was a small lizard that was close enough to him that he could lunge and catch it. Sock smiled and without another word to Rift he shot towards the lizard. In a second he was back over to where Rift had been sitting with the dead lizard in his mouth. It tasted better than the frog, but not by much. He sat down once again, still keeping his distance.

Rift watched as Sock caught a lizard, and then sat down still far away from Rift. She think like she looked like a threat, but she was slightly over then Sock, so maybe that was what was scaring him. Or maybe her just was shy in general. "That better then the frog?@ Rift meowed. She didn't really need to ask, but, she was curious about what Sock would say.

Rift looked like she was studying Sock, so he took to studying her right back. She seemed pretty outgoing, to say the least. She was the one who had talked to him after all. Sock set the lizard on the ground in front of him. He wondered if she liked lizard better than frog, she asked him first though. "Yea lizard's much better. A lot less slimy and a little less gross." He sighed and looked around the swamp. He was trying to figure out what they could do other than standing there and just talking, which was pretty boring. "Is there anything else you want to do?" He asked Rift..

Rift thought that Sock would like lizard better, and she was right. Rift sighed. None of the prey I the swamp was good, none of it at all. "This swamp doesn't tend to have the... tastiest prey in free territory." she meowed.

Sock nodded. He looked around the swamp. His small stature could easily let him slip into the mud so the gross prey wasn't really worth the danger, but hey, he always liked giving himself a challenge. He spotted something move off in the distance and his ears twitched. "Hey listen, I'm going to keep moving on." He stated as a means of saying goodbye. He took a few steps away from her before he thought of something else. "Feel free to come talk to me again sometime." Then Sock bounded off after the thing he may have seen.

Cloud realized that neither cats had noticed her sitting in the shadows. She had been listening to them making sure they weren't hostile. 'Maybe I should introduce myself' She thought. Finally she came to a decision. "Hello newcomers." Cloud said with a friendly smile. Her mussels rippled under her fluffy silver tabby pelt.
