I have permission o w o
It was incredibly dark out, about the middle of the night. For some reason Crookedthorn wanted to visit IceClan even though it wasn't his original home before he'd died. His home at actually been FireClan but his only friend did live in IceClan which probably compelled the spirit to lurk around here. He flattened his ears. He hadn't been ready to die so soon. Now he had to watch everyone else grow up while he stayed at the same state forever. It was incredibly lonely to be honest.
He heard a rustle in the night and turned his head quickly. "Shoot.." He muttered. He hadn't actually expected anyone.

Silvercloud was pacing back and forth in the camp, restless. Since her vigil a few nights before, she hadn't been able to get into the habit of a normal sleeping time. Quite horrible when she had to train three apprentices at once, of course. Deciding to explore a little, she padded to one of the dustier corners of camp and blinked hard as she saw a cat. She had never seen this cat before. He was a handsome cat, though he didn't look too old. What was he doing here? It was then that Silvercloud saw the stars in his pelt. Cloudclan? Why would a Cloudclan cat be here? I don't think anyone had died recently, especially not this cat? In her shock, she stumbled a little and made a rustling noise, alerting the strange cat to her presence. Well, that was a little earlier than she had expected to have to introduce herself, but she would take it. "Well hello there, I'm Silvercloud. Who are you? I don't think I've seen you around." She decided to avoid all mention of Cloudclan, in case she was just seeing things. Now that would be embarrassing indeed.

Crookedthorn lifted a paw to scurry away but the sound of a voice made him turn around, laughing sheepishly and giving an awkward grin. "Hiya!" He managed to utter. Haha.. Someone in CloudClan's going to knock me over the head for this. He didn't expect anyone to still be up this late at night. If anything his presence was likely strange. "Oh, well.." He managed a cheeky smile. "That's because you could say I don't like to be too flashy." He laughed. "I don't typically.. show myself around here." He shrugged.
"I'm Crookedthorn." He flicked his tail. "What are you doing up this late?"

Silvercloud smiled sardonically at the awkward warrior, looking for all the world like a kit caught doing something wrong. She supposed that she was wrong about this cat being a Cloudclan cat. After all, certainly he would have mentioned it. Although, he didn't seem to have a scent at all. Maybe an incredibly faint Fireclan one, but so faint as to not raise Silvercloud's suspicions. "Well, that's weird indeed. You don't seem to have much of a scent at all. And I'm out here because I simply can't sleep. You must know that I had my warrior vigil a little while ago, and I haven't really gotten back into my sleeping pattern again."

serious late reply sorry Silvercloud[change of names and origins for a plot ^^'] "Aaaahh it's been a while." He looked around the area. "I haven't come for a visit for a while! I remember living here, everyone was so nice." He grinned. Of course back then there had been different cats and he'd been well.. alive. "Not much? Well that's because I'm from CloudClan now, previously IceClan though." He explained. She spoke of her vigil and he shook his head. "I sometimes keep tabs on IceClan but some bits I miss. Don't think I caught that part, congratulations though!" He smiled warmly. "Oh, but not on the sleeping problem, sorry to hear about that."

Silvercloud started back in surprise as Palewolf stated that he was from Cloudclan. She had almost forgotten about that whole theory of hers, dismissing it as a flight of fancy. Still, it wasn't as if it was too unusual. Life in the clans tended to be weird in itself. It was the first time she had seen a Cloudclan cat though, and she was almost bursting with questions. What was Cloudclan like? How did Palewolf die? Still, she kept them to herself. She didn't want to annoy the spirit, and if she threw a barrage of questions at him, she might end up doing just that. After all, matters of death tended to be quite personal. Or so she assumed. Grinning in return, she responded to his reply, dipping her head bashfully at the congratulations. "Well, suddenly springing it on me that you're a Cloudclan cat isn't going to be good for my heart at all. Well, I wish you a nice life in Cloudclan. And thanks!"
(Tis' alright. And, okay... So I'll assume that you've introduced yourself as Palewolf?)
