Frostykit exited the nursery quietly not to wake anyone. It was late at night and the tom wanted to explore the camp at darker hours. Frostykit was looking around aimlessly and bumped into a rock. He rubbed his nose with his paw then continued on his little journey. The fresh kill pile was ahead and he decided to investigate.
He poked the pile, it seemed almost ready to come down and tumble on him but he didn't seem to care.

The snow colored she-cat paced around the empty camp, stomach growling. It seemed as though all the warriors and apprentices were either out on patrols or busy hunting for fresh kill. Oh Thornkit would often envy those lucky cats which were allowed to step paw out of the camp without getting scolded. Heaving a slight, bored sigh, her stomach once more reminded the she-cat of her hunger. Face now cringing up from the pain of hunger, she began to stalk over to the fresh kill pile, mouth watering. Although it had not been too long ago she had shared a piece of prey with her mother, Rowansky, the small kit became easily hungry due to growing.
Reaching the target, Thornkit's tail shot up in the air and a delighted expression crossed the white furred cat. Licking her lips, she stretched her neck out, reaching for a shrew only to see the prey begin to wobble. Confused and feeling anxiety, the kit took a cautious step away from the pile, watching it carefully. Suddenly a white pelt caught her piercing golden eyes. Seeing a tom prying the prey with a paw, Thornkit at once became alert and lunged at the male, believing the pile was about to collapse on top of him. Breath frantic, she called out to the snowy colored male,
"Watch out!"
Just in a knick of time, she hopefully was able to push the male away from the fresh kill which now was sprawled on the ground. Sighing, she trotted over to him, slightly annoyed yet relieved. Glancing over at the tom with a sharp glanced, she mewed gently,
"Are you okay? That was quite a risky move..."

Watch out!" His ears twitched and he felt himself being pushed away. He staggered back, barely able to catch his footing. He watched the prey pile fall and stared at it, only managing a small stiff laugh as it spread across the floor. The voice spoke again and his ears pricked, and he turned his head to see the she-kit. He stayed quiet and took one more look at the pile. "I'm fine." He said simply. He sat down and grabbed a mouse from the fallen over pile. He dropped it at his paws and his gaze met her again.
"Risky?" He cocked his head. He wasn't exactly one to not be reckless. He found himself in trouble often. But his biggest issue was with the deputy. He'd often be quite sour towards him. But he had his reasons. "Risky? I like to think bold." He flicked his tail. "Cool works too, whichever you prefer." He stifled a small laugh. Of course he was merely kidding but.. He didn't have to say that.
"Who're you? My own personal hero? Well, tell me your name."

The she-cat couldn't help but flinch at his response, It had been stated so blunt and emotionless. Rolling a pair of golden eyes, Thornkit tried to hide her internal smile and instead acted annoyed. The male seemed fairly cocky but not to the point he would be full of himself. Stifling a sigh, the kit responded with an equally solid tone, as if almost mocking him,
"Glad to hear it."
Nope he is definitely cocky. the she-cat thought as he tried to use other adjectives to describe the accident he had just caused. Amused slightly, Thornkit let out a faint laugh only to stop herself and returned to her act. Tip of her tail now moving from side to side, she replied once more, this time with sarcasm, yet not to the point where it was rude,
"Whatever you say, oh great and powerful one."
At his next demands, Thornkit decided to sit up straighter with her chin high. The male was obviously joking, but this time she wanted to be the confident one. Golden eyes staring into the tom's eyes, not breaking for a second, she replied,
"I'm Thornkit, and who might you be? A damsel in distress?"

OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY I DIDN'T EVEN SEE THAT YOU REPLIED. I'm so dumb omg :'D
Also slight design change wheeeeeee
"Of course, praise me." He flicked his tail. Of course he managed a laugh and had a small grin planted on his face. He snorted when she raised her chin. "Oh who feels praised now? Feeling mighty now are we?" He said lightly, rolling his eyes playfully.
"I'm what's known as Frostykit. Oh why of course. I find trouble so that I can be rescued by heroes such as yourself. I'm very helpless oh save me!" The tomcat laughed quite loudly, maybe a little too loudly considering the time of day. He wasn't actually this overly cocky, but he liked to play it out that way. Frostykit tended to just be a bit snarky sometimes and had a comment for everything.
Nevertheless he wasn't a bad cat or anything, just lacked somewhat of a filter.

The young kit rolled her golden eyes with a small laugh as he told her to praise him. Thornkit did not understand what she would be praising, although perhaps the male's humor was worth rewarding. A smirk sticking to her face, the she-cat suddenly felt less tense already from the fall of the fresh kill pile. Sneering playfully she replied,
"What would I be praising you for? Knocking down the fresh kill?"
Thornkit had to admit, by acting cocky it does make you feel a bit more powerful... Keeping her head high in the air, the kit gave a curt nod, and then said teasingly,
"Of course! Now bow to me!"
The white cat let out a loud laugh as well, the tom's speeches were just too funny. Rolling her eyes playfully once more, Thornkit began to rethink him. The male didn't seem like a bad cat, just very playful and a tease, much like herself. She decided that she should up her teasing skills a well. Puffing out her chest proudly, the she-cat nodded and meowed with a strong, yet joking voice,
"Thornkit is what I'm identified as. And it is my job to help you poor damsels! Do not worry I will save you!"

I think that takes some pretty good skill." Frostykit boasted sarcastically with a small grin. She started to play along with his remarks. He honestly appreciated that, because it was quite comical. Most cats usually got mad at him for either being a little sarcastic or falsely cocky. Although, he couldn't blame them. Which was why he usually just had to play incredibly nice. Which for him was a little boring.
"Oh? Seems more like you're the one looking for the trouble and not me." He laughed. "So if I ever want to find you, I'll just find myself a nice steep cliff to dangle off of, or more prey piles to fall on top of me. Yet I think the latter would be a safer bet." Frostykit sat down, looking over the quiet camp.
"So, now that you got that out of your system, saving me and all, obviously, what should we do now?" There was a hint of laughter from him but it wasn't too audible.

The snow white kit's eyes glittered with humor at his cocky remark. Although her could be seen as full of himself, it was clear to Thornkit that this was no more than a mere act. Or you could just call it a clumsy move. The kit snorted to herself with a small chuckle. The she-cat was beginning to open up to Frostykit, seeing how they were slowly becoming friends over the playful mood. Giving him a look of mischief, the young cat replied,
"Well in that case I commend your amazing 'talent'."
Although the tom had just been joking around, his words spoke some truth. More often than not Thornkit would find herself in some trouble, either with the elders or warriors. Forming a smirk on her face, the she-cat rolled pair of golden eyes,
"Well I guess it takes one to know one!"
Laughing at Frostykit's speech, the white kit nodded and decided to play along. This had been a conversation which Thornkit had been wanting for a while now. Puffing out her small chest, she replied with great sarcastic cockiness,
"Of course! Where ever you are in trouble, I will always find you!"
Pondering for a few seconds, she was quickly reminded of the hunger which still needed to be meet. Giving her new friend a smile, Thornkit laughed awkwardly. The reason she had come over to the area in the first place was to find a shrew and devour it with her sharp kitten fangs. Just the thought itself made her mouth water. Glancing back down at the fallen prey, she heaved a sigh and laughed. Facing Frostykit, she meowed,
"Well I guess we have to dig through the remains right?"

Dreamkit sighed. Why is camp so boring all the sudden? She went to the fresh-kill pile, and yawned.
