( Batpaw & Sunfish, Wolfears & me - could you guys post in the activity check? thanks <3 )
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here beneath Highstone!" Robinfrost called, his voice echoing across camp. "Batkit, Frostykit, please step forward," he ordered, waiting for the two kits to walk forward. "You are both six moons of age." He said. "By naming these apprentices, we show that IceClan will survive and remain strong. Batkit, Frostykit, from now on you will be known as Batpaw and Frostypaw. Sunfish, you are ready for another apprentice. You will mentor Batpaw. And I believe I can take on another apprentice. I will mentor Frostypaw."
He made his way down the boulder, leaning over to touch noses with his apprentice. He cast a look at Sunfish, knowing just how pleased Frosty would be with this arrangement. Robin was going to give himself Bat, his adopted son, but he decided to give him to Sunfish, hoping that it would make the tabby happy if he took on his son.

i must become a lionheart Batkit was an apprentice! He felt like he was dreaming. His father gave the ceremony, his other father was his mentor, and his brother was being named beside him. It almost felt like....a harem. Was that the right word?
His eyes took on a dreamy cast as he touched noses with Sunfish. "Is this what a harem feels like?" He asked earnestly with a proud smile. |

Oh man, really? Frostypaw thought hesitantly as he touched noses with Robinfrost. I may actually die. He flicked an ear listening to Batpaw. He wanted to burst out laughing at Batpaw's remark, but he'd look like a giddy idiot in front of someone he was already at odds with, Robinfrost.
He hesitantly glanced at Batpaw. "I'll join your harem." He said with the blankest expression and the most monotone voice he could to make his words even better.

At the sound of the ceremony, Thornkit rushed over at once and skidded to a fault near the front row. This was two of her friend's apprentice ceremony, and she was going to be be there to support them. Listening closely to their naming, the she-cat beamed with happiness. They both had gotten fine warriors as mentors, this made the kit hope for her own luck as well. Watching the two jump down, Thornkit rushed up to them at once, tail high.
The moment she arrived, the white cat heard the word 'harem'. Tilting her head to the side, Thornkit couldn't help but laugh lightly at their plan. They were making a harem which slightly confused the she-cat but still at least it was something to tease the males about.
"A harem huh? I don't know why but something about that seems off."
Now becoming sincere, Thornkit grinned at the brothers and meowed to them with joy,
"Congrats on becoming apprentices!"

i must become a lionheart Batpaw turned his thousand watt smile onto Frostypaw at the news. "Great!" The tom exclaimed, subtly glancing towards Robinfrost and Sunfish to see if they were proud.
When Thornkit appeared he immediately turned to his friend, the first sign of regret in his eyes. He'd really only just met the she-cat, but he was going to miss her until she joined them in the apprentice den. "Off? No way. Anything involving me is going to be completely legitimate and awesome. You should know that," he joked with a laugh. "Don't keep us waiting long, Thornkit. You need to hurry up and become an apprentice too." |
