"To many to count." She purred as she ran around and pawed at a few of them. She laughed as she played around with the weird creatures.

Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I'm half-crazy all for the love of you. It wont be a stylish marriage, I can't afford a carriage. But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two. white "Are you trying to catch one?" He asked, watching Whitepaw curiously. After a moment he turned away and took a few bounding leaps, laughing as the fireflies flew away from his churning paws.

"No I'm playing with them." She laughed. She hasn't done this for a long time. It's making her feel like a kit again.

He turned and began to follow her, leaping and swatting at the fireflies. There was still a part of him that wanted to catch one though. "This is definitely the best way I could have spent the night!"

Whtiepaw stopped and watched him do the same thing she was. She smiled at him. "I agree with you." she smiled and looked around her, and then up at the dark night sky.

He chuckled and turned to Whitepaw, beaming his gratitude towards his friend. "Being an apprentice is pretty awesome." He'd certainly never expected to spend his first night like this. Swiftpaw would have never gone with him, he loathed bugs. The tortoiseshell trotted back over to Whitepaw. The fireflies had been lovely, but they hadn't entertained him as long as he thought. "We can head back whenever you're ready."

Whtiepw let out a yawn, showing her pink tongue. She nodded her head in agreement. "We can leave now it's getting late and I have training in the morning." she told him with a small smile. Whitepaw soon started towards the camp. "Do you already have a nest?" she asked him.

That was a mistake on his part, and the tom winced. "I should have thought of that earlier." There would surely be a space in the den for him to curl up in. He didn't want to disturb anyone. "I completely forgot."

"If there isn't an empty one you can join me." she told him. Whitepaw has never slept next to anyone besides the she-cat who had adopted her. But there was no way she was going to let her new friend sleep without a nest.

Jackalpaw felt a rush of friendship for the she-cat, and hurried to catch up to her. "Are you sure? I wouldn't want to be a bother?" He stressed, ears flicking. He loved sleeping close to others, but he didn't want to be annoying.

"No it's fine I have to get up early anyways" she smiled. Whitepaw didn't mind at all, about sleeping next to someone she loved the warmth from others.

He took a moment to shove Whitepaw's shoulder playfully. "Then thank you very much," he purred gratefully. "Who is your mentor again? They sound like they're running you into the ground with all this work."

(Yeah you're the new deputy!!! Congrats! I'm going to make a new thread)
"My mentor is Dawnbreeze. She's amazing." She said she can say it a billion times and it still be true. "She's really not. After a good training we would walk around and talk. She listens to me." She told him. They reached camp, and she went straight to her nest and went to bed.
