Icekit padded around the camp looking around to play with someone or eat some prey. She padded passed the Warriors den but then slipped on a piece of thin ice and fell into a den that looked like the warriors but was smaller. 'Was this the Apprentice den?' She thought. She began wondering through the den feeling the nice bedding. Suddenly she slipped again and tumbled over a much larger cat. "Owes!" She squeked. Otterpaw |

Otterpaw had been sleeping soundly when he felt a small body tumble over him, and a squeak following it. "Hm?" he mewed, lifting his head and looking over at Icekit. "Hey, you're a kit aren't you? Shouldn't you be in the nursery?" he asked question after question, his tail flicking side to side as he waited intently for the kitten's answer.

She looked down. "Yeah I should be in the nursery but I went out to explore and ended up falling in here." She meowed. She looked at the apprentice and then to her paws. "Did I wake you?" He asked.

"It's alright, I should have been up by now." he yawned. "You shouldn't stray so far from the nursery next time .... Hey, what's your name anyway?" Otterpaw asked upon realizing he didn't know her name.

"Icekit... like IceClan!" he purred. The name did fit her white coat. What's your name? "Oh, I'm the great and awesome Otterpaw!~ Fear me!" The siamese tom bared his teeth playfully and dropped into a crouch.

Icekit giggled softly and lowered herself playfully into a odd way of doing the hunters crouch. She bared her tiny yet sharp teeth. "Im never scared!" She meowed fiercely but still in a playful way. "I laugh in the face of fear. Haha hahaha." She laughed.

"Oh really?" Otterpaw grinned, staying close to the ground. He quickly threw his head back and puffed out his chest, letting out a loud "Raaaaawr!! Are ya scared yet?!" His brown tail whipped back and forth eagerly.

She was scared at the roar but shook it off. "Oh yea try this!" She leapt yowling her paws gliding over his back barely touching it. She landed behind him and ran through his legs as quick as she could.

Otterpaw blinked, slightly confused. The kit had disappeared over him and reappeared in front of him. What was this madness!?! "You darn kits and your.... smallness!" he stuck his tongue out. "I'll be a warrior soon and I'll get to do stuff better than you jumping over me." he bragged, puffing out his chest.

"Well im close behind you. Im gonna be an apprentice soon!" She said and stuck out her tounge back. She looked at otter. "You give up though?" She asked still with energy.

"Never!" he snarled playfully. The great and powerful Otterpaw would never give himself to a puny kit! The thought alone made his nose wrinkle with disgust.

Otterpaw, knowing that she was going to leap, but also giving her the chance to attack, was at a fork in the road. Should he let her attack him, or dodge and get away? She was only a kit, she couldn't hurt him much.
Ultimately, he decided to take the blow, like any good warrior would do. "Aaaagh! You got me!" he cried, falling over dramatically and placing a paw to his 'aching' head.
