Before the sun could reach its zenith, a cover of clouds swept in from the direction of the mountains, carrying with them the promise of a storm. The chill in the air, already crisp to begin with, became even worse as the blanket of gray covered everything, hiding the sun from the earth. Indra relished it all; the chill, the foreboding taste of rain on the wind, and most of all the distant flashes of light and rolling booms of thunder, echoing throughout the land from a place where the storm already raged. The young black tom, previously resting underneath the arching roots of an ancient oak tree, crept from his hiding place, readying himself for the spectacle still to come. As he rested his gaze on the darkest of the clouds, those most likely to rip asunder and shower the ground with water and light and sound, he heard the softest of footsteps, hardly even noticeable. Indra knew that this was by no means the sign of a friend; life in DeathClan meant the constant possibility of danger, and even young cats were not exempt from the rule of the rogues. Turning his head sharply, he decided to chance a quiet greeting; "Hello?" he called, all the while scanning the surrounding area for the maker of the noise.

If we burn, you burn with us. i feel the black tom's gaze rest on me, without realizing it. frankly, i'm surprised he finally noticed me. he certainly took his time, i think, pushing through the bracken to get to the clearing. a crackle of thunder indicated coming rain, and i wrinkle my nose, sharp grey eyes sweeping the clearing for any other dangers.
with nothing detected, i turn toward the male, making no movement. "hello." i greet, a little annoyedly. "why are you out here? there's rain coming, you know." i add bluntly, flicking my tail. 'lo. not sure if this is bumping or not... template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

When the other cat revealed herself, Indra's muscles tensed; she didn't look as though she wanted to harm him, but then looks hardly ever told the full story. He didn't quite understand the irritation in her tone, but he decided against bringing it up, as it could only be detrimental to the conversation. "Very astute of you," he remarked dryly, letting his gaze wander briefly to the forlorn gray sky before focusing once again on the newcomer. When next he spoke, Indra let the the sarcastic tone drop, replaced by a carefully maintained neutrality; "I like storms," he said simply, shrugging as he did so. "I suppose I could ask the same of you," he added after a moment, sitting down as he spoke; hopefully, this would convey his wish to keep this meeting violence free, and the position also gave him a clear view of the oncoming storm-front while also allowing him to keep the she-cat within his sight.
(If it is, oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
