A kit would like a story

Icekit padded towards the Elders den with prey in her jaws. It was a respectful thing to do. "Hello?" She said setting the prey on the floor as she padded into the elders den. "May I get a story?"

Maplefrost grunted noncommittally from his nest nearby. It seemed like a lot of cats were looking for stories recently, but then again, he'd take visitors over being perpetually lonely. The blind tom sat up and turned towards the youngster.

"A story, huh? I suppose so. What's your name?" he questioned while scanning his memory for a good tale.

(I will in the future! And its fine. I even forgot about this thread. Im gonna continue this as a kit since that would be easy. @maplefrost)

"Icekit." She meowed softly looking at the elder, he looked some how familiar. 'Had he been in the nursery? Or had I seen him in camp before?' She wondered but then sat dow by Maplefrost.

"Icekit… nice to meet you, then. Call me Maplefrost." The calico cleared his throat and sat up partially, having thought of an old story that the youngster might enjoy.

"Would you like to hear about my first day in the mountains, back when I was an apprentice?"

"Oh yes please @maplefrost!" She said with a little bit more excitment then she planned. She loved getting told story's. It was her favorite pass time and it was fun.

"Well then. My very first adventure in the territory was… not boring, by any stretch of the imagination. As an apprentice I was training under Windflurry. CloudClan only knows how she handled me; I used to be a bundle of energy!" His whiskers twitched in amusement at the memory.

"I wanted to do everything. The very first creature that I tried to hunt was a crow - have you ever seen one of those flying above camp? They're big compared to most apprentices. Now, how do you think that went for me?"
