Dappledleaf felt a bit... overwhelmed. She'd only recently received three apprentices (though moonpaw had gone inactive missing) and now she was a queen! Hopefully her time as a queen didn't interrupt too much training time. She really doubted it would, though, seeing as she wasn't all to interested in a mate just yet. Making her way toward the apprentices den, she lingered at the exit entrance, searching for the two toms. "Otterpaw, Hazepaw," she whispered softly, hoping to have gotten their attention. Today they'd train together, and get lots done. So far she needed to take them on a territory tour, work on battle training and get some hunting done; it would be a busy day. Padding towards the fresh-kill pile, she helped herself to a small fish, gulping it down. Afterwards, she heaved herself to her paws and waited at the entrance of the camp for the two apprentices. (WOAH DAPPLEDLEAF IS A QUEEN- But don't worry, Dappled <:3 They'll be warriors soon!)
Otterpaw opened an eye, grinning like a madman once he heard his name. He got to train with Hazepaw and Dappledleaf! Otterpaw stuck out a brown paw and poked Hazepaw-hard. "Hazepaw, you lazy fluff ball! Get up, we're going training!" he whispered harshly, trying his best not to wake any apprentices up. After a few more pokes, he gave up and jumped out of his nest. The white and brown siamese trotted out of the den and over to the fresh kill pile for a quick snack of fish. Then it was off to the camp entrance to meet his mentor. "Hi, Dappledleaf!" he greeted. Looking over his mentor, he noticed something off about her. "You seem fatter.. are you expecting kits?" he asked, totally unaware of how rude the question could have been. As he waited for her answer, he started to realize that it wasn't very polite and thought of apologizing.

Hazepaw as already awake by the time Otterpaw thrashed at his with poking and the harsh whispering as he was just waiting for Otterpaw to wake up first before moving since they literally shared the same nest. Yet he took a little bit to get up as he had to stretch before noticing Otterpaw had taken off without him and he just gave out a small sigh as he had almost forgotten how energetic Otterpaw always was, though quickly brightening up as he remembered they were going to be training together today, which would definitely be a plus on morale and maybe even help if they had to swim. Thus, Hazepaw left the apprentice's den and padded over to the two just in time to hear Otterpaw's rude comment, but knew it was just his way of asking questions and being perceptive, so instead of scolding him he just shook his head and poked him lightly with his tail to try to prevent him from further embarrassing himself.

(Otterpaw's reaction had me laughing so hard)
She frowned though a small smile graced her lips. "No, I'm not expecting just yet, Otterpaw," she purred, eyes lit with amusement. He was young, and perhaps a bit ignorant, but she knew not to blame him for it. Plus he'd made her smile, which she hadn't done for some time.
Hazepaw joined them a moment later, and she dipped her head to both toms. "Are we ready to begin?" she asked. Of course they were; that's why they were here. "We're territory touring, hunting, fishing and working on battle training today," she began, looking over the toms. "Which would you like to begin with?" she asked, looking for opinions.

"Ooooooh..." Otterpaw blushed slightly, embarrassed at his rudeness. He grinned to Hazepaw as the white tom approached, having completely forgotten his terrible mistake that would have gotten him killed. "Battle training! Battle training!" he cheered, bouncing up and down eagerly.

Hazepaw just grinned as he saw Otterpaw's face brighten with a blush, he didn't know why Otterpaw blushing was slightly funny to him. Yet he then heard Dappledleaf's question about what to begin with, although he was slightly in dread of the fishing part, then hearing Otterpaw pipe up before he could even open his muzzle. He couldn't really argue with anything that kept him away from the water and reminding him that Otterpaw was the voice of the both of them, he was just the voice of reason and intelligence while Otterpaw was the loudest of the two speakers.

Before Dappledleaf had time to respond, Otterpaw turned to Hazepaw. "Hazepaw, what do you want to do? I'd think swimming, right?" he teased with a perky wink. He then proceeded to laugh at his oh-so-funny joke.

Hazepaw just about glared at Otterpaw for the second time this morning, but let it go as he rolled his eyes and returning his attention to Dappledleaf, wondering what they were going to do first, despite Otterpaw's sarcastic comment.

[i'd be grateful if we followed a posting order so i can keep up, very busy Dx ]
After a moment, she turned to the two. "All right, since battle training was the only thing mentioned, we'll start with that," the tabby began. "We'll tour the territory afterwards, proceeding to fish and then hunting." Hazepaw didn't seem to like anything to do with water, but it was something he'd have to get used to.
"We might swim as well." she finished with a small grimace, though if he was truly terrified, perhaps she would consider fishing only.

(Posting order: Dapple, Otter, Haze. Hope that'll help XD)
Otterpaw purred, listening along. He enjoyed the idea of battle training, and hoped Hazepaw would enjoy too. Though, deep in his heart, he knew that Hazepaw despised water and fighting. Otterpaw brightened immediately at swimming. "Sounds fun!~" he grinned, totally ready.

(okay)
Hazepaw just grimaced on the inside as he heard the mentioning of swimming and fishing, yet he knew he wouldn't be a party pooper because it was Otterpaw's favorite thing, after all, he'd rather be terrified to all Cloudclan and back rather than see Otterpaw upset. Yet he was just fine with battle training, he just didn't prefer fighting, though he just despised water. Though he was ready to go along with the day.

Dappledleaf nodded to herself, content. Of course, only Otterpaw spoke, but it was seemingly meant for Hazepaw as well. Picking up a swifter pace, they reached the hollow in no time.
Slowing to a stop, the bengal looked at both cats individually. "I would like you to take turns showing me what you already know. That is if you know anything at least, and it's not bad if you don't, you haven't been taught yet."

Otterpaw had been silently following her, until she stopped. He blinked, her words burning holes in his ears. "What we already know?" he echoed bleakly. "Like, fight each other?"

Hazepaw now just had the blankest stare he could give, he didn't know much about fighting at all to be honest, now he was even more confused with Otterpaw's response, he thought that at least he would know some basics so they wouldn't look like complete mousebrains. Which now he just kept staring between the two, not really sure of what to do honestly.

She paused. "Or not." She had just said she understood if they knew nothing, or very little. "All right then." Clicking her tongue, she turned to the two toms. "My mentor taught me something I thought came in handy and I'd like to show you."
Raising a tentative paw, she continued. "Otterpaw, I want you to circle Hazepaw until he becomes dizzy." Hopefully they understood this... "Usually this leaves your opponent disoriented, and will give you the perfect chance to strike."
"Feel free to run in different directions occasionally if you'd like, that works well too." Sitting a fair distance away to give herself full view of the scene. Flicking her tail, she meowed "begin."
