DappledleafIcekit soon to be Icepaw padded around the camp heading to the fresh kill pile.she was hungry and needing of delicious prey to fill her. She quickened her pace til she reached the pile taking a rather small fish that was maybe the size of a minnow. She picked it up in her jaws but as she turned around she bumped into a larger cat that smelled like the nursery.

Dappledleaf had been making her way toward the fresh-kill pile, intending to fetch a squirrel when she felt a kit bump into her. Her eyes widened slightly, as she thought she'd almost squashed the small she-kit.
"Oh dear Cloudclan, are you all right?" she asked, searching the kit for any injuries caused by her. "It's my first day and I've already almost squashed a kit." the queen mumbled to herself. Shaking her head to clear it a bit, she turned to the kit.
"Regardless of the not-so-great encounter... would you mind me asking your name, darling?"

Icekit looked up to the warrior she set down the fish and sat down. "Im fine." She said reassuring the queen as she checked her for wounds. She didnt feel pain anywhere.
"My name is Icekit." She meowed kindly. "Whats yours?" She then asked tilting her pure white head.

"That's a beautiful name," she replied, finishing her squirrel with a gulp, then resting her tail on her paws gingerly. "I'm sure you'll choose a nice warrior name when the time comes," she added with a smile.
"Oh, and my name is Dappledleaf." the tabby added after a moment. "I'm a new queen, but that's probably obvious, no?" It seemed pretty apparent in her opinion, at least.

Ice nodded kindly. "Thank you. Yours is beautiful too." Icekit meowed kindly to the queen.
"Well that sounds like you'll have your paws in a bunch." She giggled a little.

Dappledleaf felt herself nodding, even though she hadn't intended it to. "Yes, definitely," the queen replied, a soft grin gracing her features. She thought for a moment.
"Since I'm here..." she began, "would you like to try (or suggest) any games?" It seemed kits would be a large priority, and most likely overwhelm her, or consume most of her time. It would be good to get comfortable around them.
