Robinstar, the newly named leader, leapt onto Highstone. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here beneath Highstone!" He yowled. "As you may have noticed, Wilstar has recently resigned and I've risen to take her place," he began, scanning the crowd for the warrior he was about to pick to become his second in command. "And, of course, this means I must pick a new deputy." No one knew who it was yet.
"Sunfish, please step forward," he ordered, nodding to the tabby tom. "You've been chosen to lead the Clan along with me. You will be the new IceClan deputy."

Sunfish smiled happily as Robin mentioned he'd taken over. The golden tabby was sitting quietly in the crowd. He heard his name and his ears pricked. He thought he misheard but he didn't seem wrong. The tabby stepped hesitantly out from his spot and dipped his head calmly. While Sunfish was looking well composed he seemed to be feeling a mixture of being overwhelmed and baffled by Robinstar's choice.
Is this really okay? He thought solemnly to himself. "Thank you. I'll do my best."
