 ADDERVENOM OF ICECLAN Addervenom let out a muffled growl as he paced in the back of the medicine den. He was frequently angry, yes, but this was on a new level. Something had happened which he could not forgive.

Sunfish gave a half-smile, though most of it was mocking. He wasn't completely sure with this choice in medicine cat. Addervenom was short tempered and frankly Sunfish was wary of him. You could say he didn't really trust this cat. Now he was just incredibly cautious of becoming sick or injured. He was a little more aware around Adder.
"Hey turtle-bait." That had seemed to become a run-on nickname. Sun was still to this day slightly amused that as an apprentice a turtle had bit him. "What? I can't talk to my favorite cat in the world." He laughed loudly.
"Oh who am I kidding we both know we have a mutual dislike. So how's it shaking? How's the new job?

ADDERVENOM OF ICECLAN The nickname alone had Addervenom's temper flaring into a supernova. Had Sunfish come here just to make him angry? If that was the case, the other tom was late to the party. After counting slowly to ten, he hissed out a response through gritted teeth.

"I'm actively dying from a broken heart. You hurt my feelings. I may cry myself to sleep and choke on my tears. Mend my shattered organ." He pouted. "But nah, I'm here to stay. I'm offended you aren't very welcoming to a visit. Not very humble are we? So, you seem to have less patience with me than usual. Usually you last a good few more squabbles." He flicked an ear.
"What's up with you?"

ADDERVENOM OF ICECLAN Claws dug into the packed earth floor. The medicine cat didn't have much patience to begin with, and now he was being severely tested. Another few verbal jabs and Sunfish would actually be in need of his healing services.

"A death? Who? Do I know them?" He could somewhat feel himself sympathizing the med. Slightly. His dislike was a little too deep rooted for him to feel extreme anguish for him. "Well uh sorry to hear that." Sunfish was neutral until the medicine cat started throwing threads. He snorted, rolling his eyes. "Oh no I've fallen and I can't get up." Sunfish sat down dramatically.
"I can't possibly leave now."

ADDERVENOM OF ICECLAN "I doubt you've met him," said Addervenom dismissively, casually deflecting the actual question. Of course Sunfish would've known who Drought was. But there was no need to spread the fact that he and Viperkit were actually the sons of the fallen king.
Without another word, Adder returned to the back of the den. He fetched something from the herb storage before padding out with a stick clamped between his jaws. The medicine cat then gave a sharp shake of his head, causing a clump of moss soaked with mouse bile to soar towards Sun. He could have fun cleaning that stench off his pelt. "Well how do I know if you don't tell me who it is." He snorted, flicking an ear and rolling his amber eyes. Suddenly a mossball filled with mouse bile was soaring towards him and he got hit right in the chest. He had a twisted face, appalled by the med's actions. Sunfish grimaced and kicked the mossball towards Addervenom and attempted to rub the area he'd been hit on Adder's tail. If he couldn't hit him with that he'd at least use him as a washcloth.
"You are despicable!" He hissed.

ADDERVENOM OF ICECLAN Adder was quick to duck out of the way of the mossball, which soared back towards the herb storage. He'd gotten a lot swifter since his last encounter with Sunfish. Speaking of which…
After tucking his tail in close, the medicine cat aimed a hard swat at Sun's forehead in an attempt to ward him off. He'd been wanting to do that for moons after having missed originally.
