The cool water swirled calmly around the she-cat's slim form, almost as though it were a blanket. As Brissa's head surfaced, she flickered her ears and purred slightly at the feel of the refreshing water against her patterned coat. With strong and powerful strokes, Brissa takes to swimming laps around her puppy friend with an almost impenetrable grin upon her face. This was new for her, but something made her decide that she would be, nice? Yeah, nice. Maybe it was due to her happiness with her mate? Was she not happy before, without realising it? Whatever it was, she happened to like it.
Pulling herself gracefully with her fore paws out of the pool, she perched on the top step of the ladder. Blinking down at the Tom she frowned slightly, her green gaze blinking at him. "Aww, come on! It's fun!" The she-cat blinked down at him and smiled. "Come swim. I know where to find a perfect fur drier so ya don't get in trouble" she offers with a whisk of her fluffy tail, spraying glittering droplets across the lawn. (lol, hand/hair drier. Sorry, short)

[ It's fine, and nice. x3 The new and improved for cats fur drier, eh? XD ]
Brasti watched as the water swirled around Brissa, raveling around the grey and white she-cat. Every so often, it would ripple due to the movements of both her and the pup. From what Brasti could see, the she-cat seemed very pleased with swimming around the cold waters. The young tom didn't take too much of a liking to swimming, but every now and again it was pleasant to wet his fur with the cool waters. It was only a short amount of time before pulled herself out of the water and blinked at him. The she-cat was trying to convince him to join her and the pup in the pool. Brasti's blue eyes spared a glance at the water, where the pup was happily swimming about.
He had never gone swimming in the company of others, and as so long as his pelt was dried before he returned him his housefolks wouldn't mind. Brasti's eyes returned their gaze onto Brissa, his answer fresh in his mind. "Alright, but I've got to be home before it gets dark or my housefolk will worry." Brasti answered, rising from his sitting position. Getting wet didn't seem as big as an issue as before, mostly because it was likely he was to receive a bath sometime when he returned home. Brasti perched at the edge of the pool, staring into the clear waters for a moment.
The orange and white tom then leaped in, diving into the water almost like that of an otter. Naturally, his dive was a little bit more sloppier then an otter's, but it was still rather elegant. The crystal clear fluid consumed him immediately, soaking his fur with its' refreshing coolness almost immediately. With strong strokes, he propelled himself to the surface, allowing his lungs to get some fresh air. A smile forged upon the tom's face. It wasn't all that bad being in the water, however it was still unlikely Brasti would take much of a liking to it after all. "I hope you aren't lying about that perfect fur drier, 'cause I can tell I'm going to be soaked right down to the core." Brasti meowed, chuckling a little bit as he paddled around the waters.

The she-cat watched him intently, willing a positive response as she allowed her tail to fall back into the water, allowing the refreshing liquid to ripple around it. Her green eyes spared a glance at the puppy behind her, smiling as he swam around, snapping at the water with his small but powerful jaws and yapping playfully. However, her gaze flickered back upon the tom as he responded. "Good" she purred before diving gracefully back into the cooling waters.
Moving quickly aside, Brissa laughed as he too dived into the pool with almost otter-like elegance. Note the almost. With mischief dancing within the emerald depths, the trio-coloured female made a hushing gesture before diving below the surface in one smooth action and powering toward the young pup. With a slight smirk, the feline swims below him and hooks a paw around his leg, giving it a little tug before releasing it. The pup releases a yap of fright before pushing off the wall and diving at her, shoving her out of the water with his bony head and giving her ear a lick before swimming away. The feline shows a mockingly disgusted gesture before chuckling lightly and flicking her ear.
Just as she did however, she heard a noise. Paddling slightly to keep herself afloat, the she-cat pricks both ears and listens intently. The put stops, placing his paws on the edge and releases a bark before creating large ripples by wagging his tail. Brissa approaches the edge curiously and peers around the house just as the pup goes tearing across the yard. "The twoleg is back" she informs Brasti as she swims to him. With a swift glance at the darkening sky, she pulls herself out of the water and bounds down the steps before halting and glancing back at him. "Best be finding that fur drier now, eh?" she purrs gently, waiting for him to follow.

Compared to Brissa's dive, Brasti's lacked any sorts of elegant nature. The orange and white tom had paddled around for a small while, before halting to see what Brissa was up to. The she-cat gave him a gesture that meant for him to be silent. A smirk was upon her face, which suggested to Brasti that she was about to do something very sneaky. Smoothly, she dove underneath the surface of the water, leaving Brasti to only watch with curious eyes.
The tom made no moments, he simply hovered in the water, waiting to find out Brissa's plans. His blue eyes tracked Brissa as she swam towards the pup, who was happily swimming. From his current position, Brasti couldn't quite see what Brissa was doing, but got the idea once a yelp entered the air. Brasti paddled back a bit, watching as the pup slide under the water to find his feline friend. At once, the two surfaced, Brissa more so being pushed out of the water by the pup's head. Brasti chuckled after they surfaced. "I'm guessing that's revenge, eh?" Brasti meowed, asking a rhetorical question. That was when a new sound entered the air, the sound of people. Brasti listened to the noises, not completely sure what to think of them.
He turned, facing the edge of the pool of which he had dove off of. The pup had already made his way out of the water and across the yard in a matter of moments. His attention was completely focused on the noise, which in turn made him not notice Brissa until she spoke. Brasti was slightly startled, but didn't show an ounce of that on his face nor in his body moments. The she-cat informed him about the twoleg's return before climbing out of the water. Once she spoke of the fur drier idea again, Brasti had a hunch that it was these twolegs who had returned home.
Brasti's gaze shifted to the setting sun, which meant he would have to head home shortly. With strong and swift strokes, the tom paddled his way back to the edge of the pool. His front paws settled on the ladder of the pool, using it to heave himself out of the cool waters. In a few swift movements, he was back on land once again. Droplets of water dripped from his medium length fur, making his coat feel cold and heavy. Out of sheer instincs, the tom shook out his pelt, sending a scatter of water droplets in every which way. This didn't make his pelt feel any lighter, but had decreased the amount of drops falling from his pelt dramatically. "Okay, let's go," Brasti meowed. Afterwards, he began to follow Brissa to feet these fur driers.

Brissa's black ears prick curiously as the Tom speaks, releasing a purr and a slight chuckle in response, "Something along those lines" the she-cat laughed, watching her small friend spring and bound across the yard with several echoing yaps. She heard the gentle cooing of the elderly twoleg as she greeted the puppy. She was so different with him than she was with the young stray. Not that it affected Brissa much, she was happy for the little rascal.
It wasn't a long wait for Brasti to swim over to the edge, swiftly exiting the water. She wondered if she'd see the Tom again, not that they were to part ways yet, but it was certainly something to think about. She found herself to be enjoying the other feline's company, and she didn't do so often. She laughed slightly as her bounded down the steps, choosing to shake out her pelt before he was in range. However, Brasti seemed to have a different idea. The she-cat scent him a fake glare as he shook shimmering droplets across the yard, splashing her and counteracting her own shake previously. "Hey!" she exclaimed, slashing a sheathed paw towards his head in order to swat him over the ears. "Respect please" she purred, a slight smile playing on her features still before she moved away slightly and shook out her pelt, again.
With a slight huff, the she-cat gestured to follow and led the way through a gap in the fence. "Come on waterboy" she purred, chuckling slightly as she trotted along the silent street. The cars were all gone now that the sun was setting, and the colors reflected in her eyes each time she glanced back to 'check on him.' With another slight whisk of her tail, Brissa squeezed easily between two bars of a gate. The house appeared like all the others, though it was clear it was abandoned, or at least according to what a cat might see. In actual fact it was merely for sale. The power still worked, but the lights were never on as no being slept there. Other than her that is. Entering through an open window, the she-cat jumped onto the bench, and the into the kitchen. "Welcome to my place" she called back to him before strolling down to the bathroom. Soon she came across the hair drier in its slot upon the wall. She now stood upon the vanity in the well sized bathroom. With a smile directed at the Tom, she flicked on the switch where the 'fur' drier plugged in, and allowed the warm air to blow across her coat. When she had decided she was dry, she flicked off the switch and glanced down at him. "Your turn, Brasti."

A chuckle released from Brasti's mouth upon hearing Brissa's reply to his revenge question. His attention then returned back to plethora of barks being released by the pup. The pup sounded zealous over the return of his twoleg's, in fact it almost sounded like he hadn't seen his twolegs in a century. However, these weren't Brasti's current concerns, because for the time being it was about drying off and heading home. When the tom had shaken the water from his pelt, he hadn't taken accordance of how close Brissa was to him.
Once she piped up about how disrespectful he was being, Brasti felt a tad embarrassed over his disrespectful actions. "Heh, sorry about that, Brissa." The orange and white tom replied, the slightest bit of embarrassment in his tone. Brissa once more had shaken out her pelt before gesturing to a gap in the wooden fence. With a purr, she told him to follow, and dubbed him 'waterboy' due to his actions. Brasti followed her, being cautious to not loose sight of her, which wasn't difficult considering their slow pace along with the short trip. It wasn't long until they approached a metal gate. While Brissa simply squeezed through a pair of bars, Brasti was in awe at the lovely, but abandoned, home. His blue eyes glanced back to the gate, and his gaze fell onto the she-cat. Quickly, the tom squeezed through a pair of bars and followed her into her home.
Brasti watched as Brissa used a bench to leap up and into one of the windows of the house. For a moment, the tom hesitated, then up into what appeared to be the kitchen window. Once he had his footing on the window ledge, he heard Brissa call back a welcome to her house. Brasti looked around, surprise gleaming in his eyes at the she-cat's amazing home. "Wow, this is... grand." Brasti meowed slowly, trying to find the correct words to describe the amazing place. Once he finished his observations, he followed Brissa through her large home.
Followed is all that Brasti did, but his eyes still looked around to absorb the entire idea of her home. Soon, he found that she had lead him into a bathroom with a vanity. Brissa had gone onto the vanity, and Brast followed her lead, using his powerful back legs to leap onto the vanity. Carefully, he placed his paws and waited to see what Brissa's fur dryer was exactly. That was when he saw it, a plugged in hair dryer that stationed itself on the vanity. Brasti looked at Brissa, seeing her smile directly in his direction. That was when it clicked, this was Brissa's so-called fur dryer, and from what he knew, it was going to be loud.
Before Brasti could shout any words of protest, Brissa flicked the machine one. The result was a loud gust of hair and the buzzing of the "creature" coming to life. Brasti's ears flattened against his head as he tried to block out the loud noises that he had many times before. His blue eyes glanced at the cat he was in the company of, noticing how she seemed well acquainted with the machine. She didn't take too long to finish, she even flicked the thing off and told him it was his turn. Brasti sighed quietly. "And I suppose this is the only way to dry my fur?" Brasti asked. With that presumption, the tom walked over to the machine, using the same movements to turn the thing on. It buzzed to life and began its' windy assault on his fur.
The air was warm and the noise was loud. Once more, Brasti's ears pressed against his head as he began to get to work on drying his heavy pelt. Naturally, the tom was used to his housefolk fussing over his fur and making sure it was completely dry, but this time he had to fuss over his own fur. He no doubt took longer then Brissa, in fact he wouldn't have doubted if it was triple the time the she-cat had taken, but nonetheless he got his fur dry. His paw soon reached over and flicked the noisy machine off in one swift movement. Brasti glanced at Brissa. "Done," he meowed, stating the obvious.
