Birchkit padded silently out of the nursery, the sky dark. Finally, he could see the warriors' den! He stealthily crawled to the den, entering, and as he was making his way through the center, he heard a familiar, soft voice. Birchkit? What are you doing? He turned slowly, seeing my father, Arrowstar, staring at him. "Um...hi, dad..."

I had heard the kit coming in, though I thought it was an intruder at first, but then I noticed it was my son. "Birchkit? What are you doing?" I said, narrowing my eyes at him. "Why are you here? You're supposed to be sleeping with your mother."

It was super awkward, being caught by Arrowstrike. Birchkit gave an innocent smile to the deputy, trying to play it off. "I, um, I wanted to see you...?" he said, trailing off awkwardly. He sighed. "You caught me. I wanted to see the warriors' den." he mumbled.

| I shook my head at the tiny tom, sighing. "If you wanted to come see the den so badly, you could have waited until morning to see me. I'm sure the other warriors wouldn't have mind. But, you're here now, and you may have disrupted some of the warriors' sleep." I held a frown on my face.
"Birchkit, I may have to talk to your mother later about this."
