Silvercloud, as had become her habit these days, was simply waiting by the fringes of camp. After the sudden rush that was her apprenticeship and early warriorhood, it felt strange to simply be doing nothing, without apprentices that were around often enough to train. In fact, these days she had absolutely nothing to do but wander the territory, occasionally hunting or going on patrols. Her life had settled into a strange lull that she supposed would last for the rest of her life. And the enormity of that terrified her. The rest of my life. Of course, she wished to live a long, peaceful life, like any other cat, but the sheer length of time was somewhat daunting to the warrior. She would, after all, have to live a plain life, without the childish excitement that had filled her kithood. Silvercloud supposed that it would be bearable, but not too great either. The only change was the cats that she would be living with. And that was what kept her waking up every morning. She was always eager to interact, to speak to cats and to learn their stories. The whole concept of clan life entered around this very concept. Of togetherness and helping every cat. Which brought her thoughts back full circle, to the camp that she was currently sitting by. It was busy enough she supposed. It wasn't the season for life and energy, but she would be glad that it wasn't the season for death either. Hopefully today, like every other day, she would meet some cat.

Cold, cold, cold, cold cold. She'd forgotten how annoyingly cold Iceclan could get. Though Spidermask was guessing that it wasn't even that cold, but her short fur made it seem like it anyway.
With an irritated huff the she-cat turned around and began pacing back to the other side of the camp. She'd been doing such for a while now, and had actually managed to build up some warmth in her blood. She was at least a little more comfortable now. Head down, she was so focused on her walking that she almost strode right into another cat. Right, that was another thing about Iceclan. You couldn't walk ten steps without finding someone. She was going to go insane with this lack of privacy.
"Sorry about that," she finally sighed, raising her head to examine the she-cat she had probably offended. "Didn't see you there." THIS IS THE NEW YEAR

Silvercloud started in surprise as she was run into by another cat. Replying on instinct, before she looked up fully, she murmured, "It's alright! Happens pretty often as a matter of fact." Only then fully glancing up, her jaw dropped in surprise as she came face to face with a strangely familiar look. Something that she had seen long ago, in fact. Spiderleaf? She had met the she-cat, or at least seen her, as a kit, whilst she was staying in the camp. Now though, Spiderleaf seemed to be back. If it even was her at all. How strange life is, that I seem to be meeting the same cats over and over again. It drew the black warrior to her kithood, the time when she had simply thought that Spiderleaf was something of a diplomat. Now though, she knew there had to be a darker tale. Why is she here now, though? Silvercloud was sure that Robinstar would have announced it. Then again, it might simply have been that Silvercloud was out at that point in time, on one of her infrequent hunting trips. They did seem to happen often. "Spiderleaf? Is that you? It's me, Silverkit, now Silvercloud. What brings you here?" The warrior's ears flicked forwards in interest as she waited for the answer to her burning questions.
Edit: Yes I don't mind the both of you joining, just try to keep a posting order going? I'm just editing this post because I'm not sure when Spidermask will respond and I prefer to not leave people awning as to if they may join.

cold as ice and more bitter than a december winter night. | The days were getting formidable colder as the seasons changed and the leaves began to fall to the ground in silent stacks. But it was all beautiful to Ashfrost because he loved the winter months and the snows and the colds. He could almost be sure that winter ran in his veins. His silvery-blue eyes were frost storms of their own.
Hearing the chatter of other cats, he approached the voices of two she-cats speaking, the darker one with a seemingly surprised expression. He contemplated walking up to them. After all, he had just recently lost so much with his mate, now gone and everything and he needed new friends. time had worn the other away to where they rarely spoke at all if they even did.
Before even thinking again he padded over and kindly introduced himself. Time and trials could have made him cruel, but he forced these moments to make him even kinder. "Hello," he smiled warmly. "Sorry to interrupt, I was just hoping to join in? Did I interrupt something?" He sort of backed away hoping for only the best.

Dreamkit didn't really mind the cold. She enjoyed it, in fact. She wandered to Spiderleaf/mask, curious about the warrior.

She let out a tinkling laugh, voice tinged with relief. "Well while that makes me feel a little better, should you really be so comfortable with people continuously doing that?"
There was someone about the warrior that seemed familiar, and that was saying something because Spidermask was generally terrible with faces. The one thing she never forgot was a kit, but this warrior was far from that. Luckily Silvecloud introduced herself a moment later and Spidermask's ears perked up with interest. "You're Silverkit?" It explained why she had almost remembeed her. "You're grown so big! And you're a warrior, congratulation," she purred, nodding proudly. It wasn't as if Silvercloud was her own kit, but she had enjoyed the she-cat's company before. "Though it's Spidermask now. Robinstar gave me my ceremony yesterday, I'm officially a part of Iceclan."
Her attention was momentarily diverted as another two cats appeared, and she flicked her ear a tad uncomfortable. Iceclan cats couldn't, and wouldn't hurt her, she was sure, but it still made her nervous. Still, she never made new friends by driving them away. "You're not interrupting, please stay. What's your name?" She asked the tom before turning her attention down to smile at the silent kit. THIS IS THE NEW YEAR

Silvercloud shrugged. It happened plenty of times in such a clan like this, and it would probably happen again, what with the sudden flood of excitable kits. Though that small matter slipped her mind as she heard Spidermask's reply. She smiled in pride as Spidermask spoke of her warriorhood. She could see the she-cat's pride, and didn't find it weird in the least. After all, everyone in the clan cared for each other equally. But on to the more important event. "So, you are Spiderleaf. Well, Spidermask. Welcome to Iceclan!" She was strangely excited to see the warrior again, even if her arrival was a little sudden. It would be interesting to interact with her, certainly. But why is she here? Why did she move here? What happened? Her mind burned with questions, but she decided not to voice them out. They were personal questions, and it would be horrible to offend this newfound companion. Thankfully, she was saved from the slightly awkward silence by the arrival of two more cats. A warrior and a kit, to be exact. She hadn't recalled seeing the warrior before, but this kit seemed to be everywhere! Either way, it was always nice to meet new people. Mirroring Spidermask's actions, she smiled at the new arrivals and said, "Yes, stay. You weren't interrupting at all. I'm Silvercloud."

cold as ice and more bitter than a december winter night. | Ashfrost smiled politely as he watched the other warriors exchanged what seemed like a long and quite complicated history they had between them, respecting the comments and the reunion. When he was once more adressed he dipped his head and smiled before speaking. "I'm Ashfrost," he said.
"Its nice to meet you all. Times and new friends have all come slowly lately."
He sort of ran out of things to say after that. He was never really good with this sort of conversation and hoped that maybe another cat could take over from here. He, at his best, could prompt this stuff.

Spidermask accepted the welcome with a warm purr, head tipping to the side. It was absurd how comforting it was to see a familiar face, even if the last time she had seen her, Silvercloud had been a kit. She had Robinstar sure, and maybe Sunfish, but this was someone she could talk to regularly without being afraid that she was intruding upon. "Thank you, there's still so much to get used to. The size, for one. Rockclan was so much smaller."
The other warrior seemed so ill at ease, and yet so interested in staying. It made her want to help him, but her expertise was with kits, not full grown cats. Offering a gentle smile she nodded. "I agree, particularly for me. It was my plan to come here, but I suppose I never put much thought into making new friends, or considering the ones I'd have to leave behind. I hope someday you can consider me a friend, Ashfrost." THIS IS THE NEW YEAR

Silvercloud dipped her head in reply to Spidermask, intending to comment more on the matter. However, she saw that the topic had changed to include this new member, and decided to go along with it. She too sensed Ashfrost's unease with them, even if she didn't understand it. It had always been quite easy for her to meet others, and she couldn't comprehend why others might feel differently. Still, she tried to be understanding. Dipping her head yet again in welcome, she murmured, "And I, I hope that you'll count me among those ranks of friends too." After she had said that, she decided to shut her mouth and let the two older warriors talk. She was inexperienced, sadly so, and it would do no good to disgrace herself by speaking of that which she did not know. The two other cats were speaking of old times and weighty choices, and here she was. Silvercloud had made ver little choices in life, had in fact needed to make very little. It was startling to her that eventually, she might need to choose too. But for now, she would defer to the experience of Spidermask and Ashfrost.
