Snowkit stood in a position she liked to call a fighters stance. Her deep green eyes settled on the fat mossball she had collected and set down. "Ha!" Was her only reply as she sprang at the wet moss, her claws extended. She sunk the claws into her victim, water soon damping her paws. Snowkit felt a surge of pride and puffed out her chest. Yet her attitude remained, she still wanted some cat to see her accomplishment.

"Great catch!" A playful, kind voice said from the fresh-kill pile. The middle-aged Bengal warrior swallowed her last mouthful of eagle, then calmly padded over to the little kit. "You'll make a fine warrior! My name's Petalfur."

Dreamkit was burying herself in feathers when she heard cats talking. She finally managed to bury herself in feathers while leaving places to breath and see.

we are falling... falling through the little gaps in time , my love The chatter of other cats had always appealed to Rosekit. She liked the noise of a buys camp and all of the sweet noises that represented life and pleasure in her tiny mind. Her ears zoned into a conversation between a kit and an older cat, a warrior by the looks of her. Shyly, Rosekit trotted over to join the group and maybe to even speak with the warrior, so big compared to the tiny kit.
"Hello!" She squeaked.
She never knew how small her voice was until she compared it to the voice of the warrior standing practically above her. Before, her voice seemed stronger, in comparison to her mother's soft whispers. But she knew her voice would grow too. She knew.
"I'm Rosekit! Can I join you guy?" She did a little bounce on her feet.

Dreamkit waited for either Rosekit or Snowkit to come over to her feather pile so she could pounce on her unsuspecting 'prey.' She inspected closely, waiting forever.

we are falling... falling through the little gaps in time , my love Rosekit inspected the cats around her carefully and decided on moving towards a small cat crouched in front of a pile of feathers. Rosekit creeped forward and pounded, landing right next to the other she-cat. She smiled brightly.
"Hello!" She cried happily. "What's your name?"
She shyly picked at a couple of feathers and then drew a way for a moment thinking about actually grabbing some really good food or maybe taking some of the softer feather's to one of the elders to hear a story. But then she returned her focus.
"Whacha up to?" She asked mischievously.

"Rawr!" Dreamkit screeched, then pounced on Rosekit. She nibbled of Rosekit's ear and said, "Hunting prey!"

A little voice near Petalfur allowed her to turn her head, her warm teal eyes resting softly on Rosekit. She opened her mouth to speak, but the little she-cat had already bounded away to pounce some other kit. Just like my own, she thought with a purr. Watching the two play for a few seconds, Petalfur turned back to the other kit (snowkit) to see if she would respond, silently lowering herself to a peaceful crouch to listen.

Dreamkit noticed Petalfur and bounded up to her. "Who are you?" She asked, noticing that she was looking at Snowkit.

we are falling... falling through the little gaps in time , my love As Dreamkit jumped on top of Rosekit, she laughed and moped the kit back. It was only when Dreamkit suddenly withdrew that she noticed the big warrior watching all three kits. She knew her name...or at least she thought she had heard it...she couldn't couldn't remember what it was.
When Dreamkit asked about the Warriors name, Rosekit was pleased. She would remember her name when she heard it. Instead, she focused her attention on Snowkit and smiled.
"Come play with us!" She asked. "What should we all play?"
