| Fluffy and white but that's alright! I padded into the clearing. I was a little disappointed to see that it was pretty much empty.. I wanted to meet some warriors! But I guess I'd just have to wait. For now I made my way to the fresh kill pile trying to decide that to eat. "Hmmm." I hummed aloud. | ☁ |

Little growls escaped Mousekit's mouth as he stalked the beetle across camp, trying his best to mimic how he'd seen the apprentices practice. His haunches were high in the air, his face close to the ground. The little tom was certain that if he practiced enough, he'd become a great warrior. The tabby and white kitten stopped as the beetle, deeming it's predator as unthreatening, stopped to clean itself. He crouched down, a grin spreading across his face as his rump wiggled in the air, readying himself to pounce. When he did, he missed the beetle completely, and instead crashed into a humming stranger.

| Fluffy and white but that's alright! I felt someone crash into me and I shook my head, trying to look around for who it was but it wasn't really hard to find them considering they were right beside me. I blinked in confusion and my head tilted to the side. "Hey, what're you doing?" I pouted, flattening my ears. "Was I being played as prey?" as this cat trying to hunt me? I wasn't a rabbit or a mouse! I laughed though, obviously finding his attempts funny.
"I'm Whitekit! It's nice to meet you. What's your name?" I asked curiously, sitting down. I remembered I was looking for something to eat but it wasn't really something I was worrying about now considering I had some company. | ☁ |

"Sorry." The apology was the first thing to come out of Mousekit's mouth. And, once again, he thought about how odd it was that his response was already set in his mind—no thought went into it. Was he really sorry? Not really. He hadn't done the cat any harm. If anything, he was just embarrassed that he'd missed the beetle. But his mind and his mouth were trained to say sorry, whether or not he meant it. How strange. Was I being played as prey? Mouse shook his head, backing up slowly. He looked down, hoping that perhaps the beetle would still be there and he could finish the job. It was gone. He sighed, his shoulders sagging in defeat. Whitekit. The name certainly fit the other tom. "Mousekit," he introduced, regaining his proud posture. Once again, he thought about names. If a name was made to fit the one it belonged to, then how, in the name of CloudClan, was he a mouse? Perhaps it had a deeper meaning? A slight smile made its way onto his face. "Best warrior around."
