A dark haze of shadow sweeps across the dimly lit nursery, leaving an almost eerie feel to the peaceful surroundings. However, no blurry eyes or hazy minds noticed this small change in light as sleep seemed to be the outstanding factor of a kit's life. Sleep and play. As of now, the majority slept, and the nocturnal came out to play in the moonlight. Yet this also seemed to be the perfect time to study the large glowing orb that hung amongst the clouds. And so one lone kitten sat within the doorway, head tilted skywards in order to gaze with shining eyes upon the illuminated specks in the night sky.
"I wonder what it would be like to live up there?" the youngster murmured, thinking aloud with soft, flowing tones hinted with curiosity and wonder, slightly sprinkled with awe as her own eyes reflect the stars, mirroring them as if to send the image back to the heavens so they might see them as she could. Bright, twinkling lights, spreading hope and igniting spirits. Her whole being appeared to be shining in the presence of the awe inspiring scene. Her furry tail curled around her small, patterned frame. As of now, she has no fears, no worries, and no regrets. Nothing to lose.
(No idea where on earth that muse came from. I swear I did not steal it merely borrowed it without permission or intention of return. I think it must have come out of hiding for one post, and now it's gone again. I would like to also say that I would prefer that a MAXIMUM of three joined please. And congrats if you did NOT fall asleep at anytime while reading this post. Love ya'll )

Dreamkit boredly pawed around camp. She looked up, with warriors of CloudClan looking after her and every cat in the clans. The kit ran and slid on a piece of ice, and tumbled into Harmonykit.

The silence was almost like a melody to the young kit's ears. The soft snores and purrs of her sleeping denmates the only thing to break it, yet they failed to break the peace and serenity of the night. As her blue eyes searched the stars within the inky darkness of the night, she could swear upon her life the she saw the blurry shapes of starry cats watching over her and the clan, but only for a moment. She had been told stories of these strange cats that visit medicine cats and leaders in order to contact the clan or bless the leader with the gift of life. The young one believed that that was where the soul of a newborn kit aroused from.
Unfortunately, the tranquillity didn't last as long as she'd hoped, for a furry bundle came crashing into her side, knocking her over and hurtling her into a mound of icy white snow. Yet of course, being as kind as she was, the chocolate and white she-kit shot out of the frozen powder and shook out her fuzzy coat before approaching the other kit, noticing the ice she had slipped on. "Are you alright?"

"Yup. Just slipped." Dreamkit said. She shook the snow off her head, disliking the coldness of the snow.

The young kit released a sigh of relief and sat down before the other kit, hardly affected by the coldness of the snow. In fact, it was almost, soothing. With a gentle smile the she-kit curled her tail around her small white paws, her eyes searching, looking at the appearance of this other kit. She was much older than herself, probably nearing apprentice age, therefore awaiting a ceremony and mentor. The chocolate tortoiseshell however was far from the age needed to receive a mentor, and the training that came along with such a gift. The young one took this moment to revel once more in the silence, allowing her thoughts to wander in leaps and bounds, spanning everything she knew or wanted to know, exploring further the thought of what apprenticeship might be like. Would training be hard, was it fun. All something to discover when the time was right, for now there was a greeting session at hand.
Bowing her head in an open hearted greeting, the young kit allowed her name to be known to the other she-kit. "Please, call me Harmony" she stated gently, flicking some powdery snow from her ear, causing a little to land on her small pink nose. The young one, now known as Harmony, allowed her tongue to flicker into view as she lapped curiously at the icy white snow that lay perched upon her nose. Thos cold on her tongue struck her suddenly, making her shake her head in surprise before chuckling good humouredly at herself.

"Nice to meet you, Harmony." Dreamkit said, curious on how small Harmony was. Then she thought, 'Use your brain, mouse-brain! She's younger than me, that's why she's so small!'

Harmony's gentely tapered ears pricked toward the older kit and she purred slightly in response, her tail thudding gently against the cold earth, making an almost soundless yet rhythmic thrumming noise. Crystal snow flakes sprinkle across the ground with each movement she makes. The young kit notices this with great intrigue, batting at the shimmering powder with a small paw. Blinking up at her older den mate as the words flow kindly from her mouth, the young tortoiseshell bows her head in respect. "I'm sorry, but I don't think you gave me your name. Might I ask what it is?" a gentle, welcoming smile plays across her fluffy features, lighting her sapphire eyes, unaware of the inner turmoil that swam throughout the other's head, however mild it might be. "My mother is Rowansky" Harmony adds to further advance the conversation. "Who might yours be?"
