Hi, and welcome to VWW, Tangledpaw! I recommend that you read the Getting Started board, located here: virtualwarriorworld.proboards.com/board/36/essential-information-started

The first thing you should know is that we all start out as kits here. We age based on the number of posts we make. This means that you may not start out as Crookedpeak, but rather as Crookedkit. So, you'll have to change your display name to Crookedkit using the profile, and role-play as a kit. This also means that you can't post in the Warriors' Den until your cat is a warrior. (Just a note that if you do want to start out with a history and a full grown cat, you'll probably have to PM a staff member for permission and all.)

Secondly, there is no need to post asking to join. All you have to do is post in the Activity Check ( virtualwarriorworld.proboards.com/thread/83708/iceclan-roster-activity-check-mandatory ) and the Mother's Thread, where you will get a mother for your character ( virtualwarriorworld.proboards.com/thread/85410/mothers-thread ). After you've done that, you can start roleplay.
