The golden feline figure, almost grey in appearance to the inky darkness of the crowding shadows, streaked out of the silent camp, to quick for the guards to even take notice as she tore across the prairie lands like another part of the darkness. This single soul was unaware of her concerned follower as she ran. She was too distracted by the fact that it felt like the shadows were attacking her, eating away at her mind like a mild case of insanity. The two-legs were fortunately asleep, as were their monsters, safely tucked away in their nice warm dens. The young apprentice streaked across the thunder path, ever nearing the shadows that once she had run away from. More thunder path's the young one leapt over, always seeking and never finding. She zoomed past all the stores and houses. It seemed as though each building she and her shadows passed was swallowed by darkness for the minute she entered the light cast across the path from the window, it was turned off. But she just ran on, merely casting a passing glance upon the pet shop of which she had been born and raised within. Yet this was not her destination, and so her dark paws carried her on before she gathered up momentum in her legs and leapt. And landed upon the fence within a swift and practiced bound before disappearing on the other side. Her swift paws carried her toward the one den that had yet to black out. The apprentice chased the shadows through up to the door and left them outside as she bounded through the clear flap and onto the moss like floor within. "Fallen!" screamed a voice, joy hinting in the twoleg kit's words as it ran toward her and scooped her of the ground, cooing to her carefully until she settled in her arms. "Fallen is home!" the kit announces happily as her younger sister runs in as well, stroking the fire-clanner's ears happily as the master and his wife enter as well. The minute she was placed on a wooden platform(table) she bows her head in greeting to her master, of whom is grinning widely as her scoops her up carefully in his arms. She offers him a gentle purr, unknowing of her follower. Chasing shadows wasn't so bad after all. (there ya go Dewpaw, hope it's not too boring. I couldn't think of any way to really include ya, sorry. But here ya go. Total...whatever this is...)

(Don't worry, your post is lovely and very enjoyable to read! I'm sorry too if mine is too boring of a drabble. I probably went too far while typing Dewpaw's first 'outing' of FireClan territory, and I am so sorry.)
Dewpaw had never been so terrified or unsettled in her rather short lifetime. She was chasing and tracking her friend Fallenpaw, who had raced off in an upset panic earlier, going to who knows where, though she had a guess that perhaps the upset apprentice was trying to return to her first home. Yet she had been concerned, and afraid, so she had followed the other one. She felt very pained as she dashed across the prairie, the night sky lighting the ground except for the shadows caused by the waving grass. The young one felt mostly afraid of losing her friend, and what could happen to Fallenpaw out there, beyond the Clan, beyond the territory. If the other cat died, or was never seen again, she would never forgive herself. She and the other one had alone encountered one another rarely, but she still already felt a connection and a sense of loyalty to the other cat as a friend, and that evoked instincts of protection and care even now. Dewpaw continued running across the territory, desperately following the scent that led in a direction she wasn't familiar with, the sharp grass and dirt beneath her pads not fazing her much, though her paws were beginning to feel a bit sore. It being nighttime made it even harder to remember how to reach certain ones, though Fallenpa's scent helped a bit as a guide, though even that was hard to follow. She panted while running, her chest heaving, and she already felt exhausted, for she hadn't much time to build up her speed or energy yet, so she was a bit raw, and not ready for such exertions. She kept tearing through the plains, however, her paws moving across the ground almost instinctively even though she was beginning to tire, and her blue-gray eyes were still narrowed in determination. Dewpaw suddenly smelled a strong scent of her own clan, and she knew that it was the scent marker, and she slid to a halt, her ears pinned against her head in distress, and she bowed her head a bit, not wanting to cross, not wanting to go beyond the territory of her home, to go beyond the borders. She knew none of her clanmates could freely trespass in the territory of other Clans, and surely not in the other border that had other territory beyond that was unfamiliar. If she was killed, or danger confronted her, or she got lost... no other cat would be able to help her. She would die because of not adhereing to a rule. A shiver ran up her spine, her eyes wide as she panted in exhaustion, her breathing coming out in short gasps. She felt frightened about doing so, and didn't want to go beyond her territory She did think of Fallenpaw, however, and how loyal she still felt to the other apprentice/ This was for her friend and clanmate, and she also found that very important. So Dewpaw squeezed her eyes shut, and then gathered herself into an instinctual crouch, her muscles bunched carefully, until she sprang with a leap and yowl over the border, and as soon as her paws made contact with the ground, her muscles tensed again, and she used her hind legs to propel herself forward powerfully, and it worked effectively, as soon her legs carried her speedily away from the border and FireClan.
She didn't hesitate, only pausing to make sure the sweet scent of Fallenpaw had not been lost to her nose, the tracking task becoming even more difficult out in the open and in terrain that was not FireClan's. The area was still the same at first, but began to get a bit more different, more scraggly bushes appearing around on the terrain, and soon there was a short line of them ahead. Dewpaw continued onwards, however, and pushed her way through the bushes, knowing no other way to get past the obstacles. She continued following the scent, but her nose suddenly wrinkled, and her ears twitched in disgust when she caught the scent of something acrid, and awful to the nose, and was unpleasant as well as almost sickening. At first it was faint, but suddenly she froze and let out a choked gasp when seeing a large shape hurdling smoothly past in the distance, but it was going past in a flash, having some sort of lights shining ahead of it. And as Dewpaw slowly approached, her whiskers tingling from danger instincts screaming at her to stop, she stopped again, her ears flat against her head when she saw what she faced. The scent she had smelled that had almost overshadowed Fallenpaw's scent, was caused by a black strip of land that was perfectly straight. The surface appeared almost smooth, and also pitch black in the dark. The young one became even more frightened and her eyes widened when something dashed past again at such a speed, it ruffled her fur like a strong gale of wind. She stared, transfixed and unable to move as she stared at the retreating figure of the large beast that had rushed past, until realization struck her. A monster. She let out a short screech, and scrambled backwards, letting out a short conflicted whimper as her instincts made her feel the urge to either try to fight it, or retreat completely. Even though she stood stiffly without crouching into a submissive position, the urge to run was very dominate, as the beasts were terrifying, and obviously nothing to reason with, as she had once naively thought as a kit. The things she remembered that Fallenpaw had told her about them when they were both kits only made her more afraid.
She wasn't even sure if the other apprentice had crossed or where she had went anymore, she could no longer keep track of the rather comforting scent, and perhaps there was another route around the horrible black path somewhere. If there was, however, she hadn't the time to search for it, and she didn't want to risk getting in the way of the monsters , and undoubtedly getting killed, or eaten. Her fur stood up on end, as she stared at the black path ahead, still smelling the disgusting and sickening scent of it, and she shivered again. Did she dare to try to cross it? She had to try to find Fallenpaw, though, even if it meant risking her life like now. She could outrun the monsters, before any once again went down the path. She would have to, in order to find her friend, and survive while doing so. Dewpaw crouched, her claws slowly extending. She didn't feel any rumbling beneath her paws, no lights from the monsters in the distance, nothing to indicate danger yet. Still she felt many danger instincts, and still quite fearful. But she bunched her muscles anyway, and with a yowl that ended up sounding more like a screech of terror, she leaped onto the black path. At first she felt disoriented, the ground beneath her paws was rough and strange, and scented a strong unpleasant scent, but her instincts kicked in within heartbeats, and she dashed across the path desperately, not looking back as she did, not stopping as she did so, her heart beating wildly in her chest, giving her the adrenaline she needed in order to run properly. The apprentice continued running once the dirt and grass once again was a soothing feeling under her paws, but instead she kept running wildly, leaping over a few rocks and obstacles she encountered along the way, not even thinking about her actions as she did so. She didn't stop until she realized she had run up a small slope, and downwards she could see something she probably should have spotted earlier if she had focused more. Dewpaw looked to see a large place before her, and she shrunk back upon seeing so. Not too far away from her were a few huge structures, which roughly resembled some kind of den, and many more were clustered in the distance behind it, more then she could really see. And as she gazed at the terrifyingly large structures, she scented something familiar, something she hadn't scented since her mad dash across the black path. It was the faint scent of Fallenpaw, that she could tell, and was relieved to scent again. She wasn't really assured anymore, however. Was she in some sort of enemy clan's territory now? Was this the homes of those horrid monsters? They had to be, since Fallenpaw had mentioned them, and that thought alone was terrifying. She still felt determination, and the feeling that her friend was close, however, and so started to dash down the small slope she had been standing on,, no battle cry or sound of determination escaping her this time. She soon neared the first group of buildings, and noticed that no lights seemed to be emitted from them, and at first she saw no monsters. The black paths from before were in that place too, however, probably what the monsters used to travel on, and since the paths were so big, it was an unsettling thought. Dewpaw slowly began to travel past the dens, though, her ears flat against her head, which was lowered so she could scent out Fallenpaw. As she kept walking, however, it proved impossible. The scents were all too confusing to her, there were so many new ones, it was just too much for her, and was overwhelming, so she couldn't single out a particular scent anymore. It was shameful, but it could not be helped. She nimbly made it past the dens and a few monsters resting to protect them with some fear, then continued her walk trying to locate her friend even with no scent to go on. As she continued to tread onward through the terrifying and strange place, her heart slowly sank as she kept carefully padding onward, now treading on a strange smooth kind of ground instead of grass, and she had no luck seeing Fallenpaw anywhere, or finding the other one's scent. She tried her best to stay in the shadows while looking, which wasn't too hard since many were cast from the dens, but she still could not find a thing. Everything appeared dark instead of some small lights that shone from above, but they didn't provide much of it, She soon came upon more dens, only one appearing to have light on, which was strange that there were lights there anyway.
Dewpaw was absolutely exhausted, her adrenaline from earlier having almost worn off, and her paws were sore and her pads cracked. Her tail drooped as she made way past the line of dens to search. Dewpaw couldn't exactly stop or go back now without finding Fallenpaw, after all. As she halfheartedly scanned ahead, suddenly her ears pricked slightly when she saw a small dark figure by the lighted den, before it disappeared. She shook her head at first, not wanting to think it was actually the one she was seeking for, but it was really the only lead she had. /Thank goodness it wouldn't be a normal kittypet. xD/ Dewpaw slowly padded towards it, until she was staring at the den. It was so large, however, there didn't seem to be any way of seeing inside it. She saw a fence, however, and realized she could possibly get a good view from there, hopefully, but it would be hard to leap onto. The apprentice tried to leap onto it, but it was a narrow surcafe, and only with her front paws could she grab it. She restrained from screeching, and breathlessly dug her back claws into the fence as she struggled to stay on it. She let out a small meow, and continued struggling. She wasn't familiar with the wood the fence was made of, but it felt terrible to dig her claws in, though she could get a pretty good hold, and eventually she managed to pull herself up in an awkward position. She almost seemed to lay on it, the spikes poking her soft underbelly painfully, until she straightened, and managed to sit up with a wince. She slowly stood and perched precariously on the fence, and made her way towards the den in a sort of crawl, trying to get in a good position to peer in, hopefully getting close enough to do so. It was almost too much to hope that perhaps Fallenpaw could be in the lighted den, but she had to check to know for certain, even if her danger instincts made her feel extremely wary of it.
(Yeah... um... I hate myself too for this... thing.. I created.)

(Aww, your post is great! Maybe we should go for a little shorter though or this thread might take ages) The young one pricked dark ears joyfully, purring once more in her master's arms, eyes half closed as she licks the food covered fingers of the two children. Suddenly she's placed upon the ground and the master and his mate both leave the room for a second, headed toward a strange screeching noise. However, after a few soothing murmurs from both, the screeching ends abruptly and the two head back. However, the master's mate appears to be carrying something in her paws. It looked a lot like them, but with no hair and it was a strange pinkish hue with no color draped across its body other than something white. As they entered, the queen approached Fallen gently before carefully placing the pink creature upon the ground.
With a strong kit-like curiosity, the apprentice approached the new being, ears pricked and turquoise eyes blinked with great intrigue. As she neared, the she-cat took in its scent carefully. Twoleg. So it was another kit. Was this one just a newborn. She blinked at it, and it blinked back. She smiled and let out a purr. As if on queue to her purr, the kit let's out a shrieking bubbly noise, like giggling. The young one herself jumps back at this in fright, fur raised and eyes wide before she settles and laughs back at the kit, offering it a gentle mrow. Suddenly a scratching noise makes all beings glacé toward the door, and the apprentice to leap through the cat flap and head toward the fence, taking it in her stride she lands atop of the spindly surface and smiles gleefully at her friend. She was still on edge of the shadows, but she approached her friend happily. "Dewpaw" she speaks calmly, her emotions now unreadable compared to before. "Did you follow me here?" (Well, it's shorter so...not as interesting, though not as boring either. So, a plus?)

(Hehe, thanks, I'm glad you managed to read those walls of text. xD And yes, I completely agree with that.) Your post was very nice too, and adorable!)
Dewpaw glanced downward from her precarious position on the fence edgily when hearing a noise near the supposed entrance of the den, like a small swish. She almost trembled, but stood in her balanced position firmly, for she had always been good at feigning bravery, by simply not letting herself flinch. It had not been so easy when alone at all, but when faced with a possible enemy or stranger, she was quite able to do it again. She felt hostile as she caught sight of a dark figure with almost glowing blue eyes in the dark. Her eyes widened when she was able to get a bit of a closer look, however, as the figure approached. A surge of relief swept through her, and her eyes and whole exterior brightened. "Fallenpaw!" She cried out, never having felt so relieved that her goal had been so successful, despite the dangers. She immediately tensed her muscles, and leaped again, already used to putting so much power in her hind legs when doing so, and then landed on the ground with a small grunt. She fortunately landed on her paws with a small wince, then spun around to face Fallenpaw with a feeling of definite relief.
She allowed herself to relax a bit, and for her raging instincts and wild panic driven energy to fade slightly, but she still kept alert, her ears swiveling constantly as she listened and looked for any unfamiliar sounds or signs of dangers, still extremely on edge in this unfamiliar place. The apprentice noticed how calm the other cat seemed, and compared to how flustered and still almost wild-eyed from her experience on the way there, it was quite a contrast. "I... yes, I did, I followed your scent here, I was worried." She managed to mutter, her voice sounding dry to her own ears, for it almost felt foreign to meow so calmly at the moment, and her throat felt dry. She tried to flatten her ruffled and ragged fur however, for a moment, though it was a rather failed attempt as she looked around. "With minor difficulties, too." She managed to crack with a slight grin, before becoming more serious almost immediately. "So... this is your home? Where you were born?" She asked curiously, flicking her tail to motion to surrounding area, guessing that it was why Fallenpaw appeared so relaxed, though to her this place seemed extremely dangerous, and terrifyingly different from what she knew back in FireClan.
(Phew, fortunately that was a bit shorter. xD )

(Haha, just wait till Fallen leads them back again) The young one watches as her friend calls out her name with so much joy and, relief? Why would there be any need to be relieved. Well, surely a familiar face would be comforting when you don't know where you are. This then reminded Fallen of that very same situation she had been in when she awoke that first day in the nursery. Except I didn't know anyone... Deciding now was not the time to wallow in self pity, the apprentice allowed her friend to approach, not moving at all as she did so. The apprentice did however give a partial wince as her friend landed and did the same. It reminded Fallen of her first time scaling the fence, except being a kit she hadn't really done so well. Shaking her head at the invasive thought, she chuckled slightly as her friend mentioned her 'slight difficulty' in getting there. With a purr she closed the distance between the two and helped Dewpaw clean up her pelt a little.
Once her friend seemed reasonably presentable, she nodded at the question and stood once more, as she had absentmindedly sat down to clean her own pelt slightly once she had done so for her friend. With a slight flick of her ear she spoke, quietly. "I was not born here, this is my master's house. It is home, but so is the clan. Yet neither." The she-cat added the final comment as an after thought, her tone almost questioning herself before she gestured toward the den. "Come" she mewed simply before leading the way onward, an almost Spring in her step compared to how cautious and nervy she seemed in the clan. Where do I belong? she asked herself, inner turmoil raging throughout her being.
(I don't get why I refer to it as their 'being' all the time. Personal habit maybe? Default setting? XD)

(Oh... no... you're right, that is a... terrifying prospect. -shudders in horror- But it'll probably be a fabulous moment of text walls, though, at least.)
Dewpaw didn't really tense up as Fallenpaw approached closer and closed the distance between them. It was her friend after all, who she felt comfortable with, and even though everything had spooked her around the large and completely unfamiliar place, her danger instincts were almost numb like every other part of her body, though they kept flaring up sometimes, giving her adrenaline and more forced energy, that she sometimes needed, yet sometimes did not. The other apprentice was actually a soothing presence again, which was undoubtedly because of the change of setting, but it was strange yet also relieving to see the other one more relaxed after the previous emotional display she had seen. She let out a faint sigh of relief and nodded in gratitude when Fallenpaw helped her with straightening her fur a little, and she made sure to help her friend with the rather daunting and almost unmanageable task as well. She watched the other apprentice quietly yet attentively when the other one backed away once the task was done well enough, and the other cat began to speak in reply to her question. She nodded slowly, remembering what Fallenpaw thought of as a master, which was still a bit unsettling of a concept, but she didn't say anything, only flinched a bit uncomfortably when the other one expressed a bit of the turmoil she was undoubtedly experiencing.
Dewpaw felt quite sympathetic, yet also a bit worried, about what would happen if her friend chose a certain home between the two, and if it wasn't FireClan. It was doubtful that any kind of balance could be achieved without not having proper loyalty for either side. She was startled out of the reverie when her friend flicked her tail and calmly stated to come somewhere. At first she tilted her head, her eyes widened when she realized Fallenpaw was motioning towards the supposed entrance of the den. "B-but, Fallenpaw..." She stuttered at first, not feeling too inclined to do this, her fur beginning to stand on end again, as more danger instincts began to once again make her feel alert and frightened of actually going into one of the strange creature's den. "Your master... would he accept me? What... how do these creatures even work?" She asked in a puled, almost hopeless tone, for she was quite uncertain about this, yet she also felt the need to follow her friend, a strong sense of loyalty causing this. Annoyingly enough, or perhaps fortunately, this sense of loyalty had only increased and been reaffirmed during the long and treacherous trek to find Fallenpaw. She straightened a bit stiffly, and began to take a few hesitant steps after the other one, even though many questions still teemed in her mind, and her senses were screaming not to venture inside the den of an enemy, or at least, more powerful and perhaps dangerous creature.

(I do agree, but it'll seem so natural for Fallen. And they won't be running on the way back) The young feline watched her friend display a number of emotions. Unsurety, hesitation, fear. She watched her flinch away at the prospect of entering the unknown territory. Familiarity was the overpowering emotion in this case, as for the moment, Dewpaw reminded her of when she first woke up within the clan. However, her friend was slightly more settled than she was herself. Be brave she willed the other apprentice, though for some reason she failed to speak the phrase of encouragement aloud. Your braver than I am. Keep it that way the young one informed her mentally, dipping her head slightly. At the question of acceptance, Fallen looks the other in the eye, her body and mind set calm and relaxed, yet full of turmoil and understanding. "I promise, you will be fine" the apprentice's eyes are full of sorrow, yet she knew that she would never allow her only friend to come to harm. As Fallen walks calmly and steadily across the short grass, her paws moving rhythmically and tail swishing slowly behind her, she feels a sense of loyalty, not necessarily to either home, but to the other she-cat behind her. Halt in one swift motion, the young feline glances over her shoulder, almond eyes blinking at her friend as she cautiously approaches the den. With a gentle nod, and smile of reassurance that lit up all her features, the apprentice enters the den in one graceful bound, allowing it to swing shut behind her. Walking over to the family, she allows herself to sit upon the soft, moss like covering upon the floor of the twolegs' central camp area. (I disappoint myself )

(Very true. And no, no dear, that was also quite a lovely post! Your descriptions are very nice and pleasant to read. Also, I am so, so sorry for the late reply with this.)
Dewpaw was watching the other apprentice intently, for she was a calming presence in this place, and noticed how Fallenpaw dipped her head slightly, and she felt inclined to respond to the gesture somehow, but she was unsure of what the intention of it was. Even so, it was a bit of a reassuring gesture, yet at the same time a bit puzzlingly unsettling. Upon the other one's reassuring promise, she forced her fur to smooth, and to act a bit more calm. The statement was indeed soothing, especially since it was stated as a promise. She looked downwards for a few moments, still feeling doubtful about the whole thing, and trying to think properly about all the possible dangers and how to remain safe, yet she wasn't aware at all about what could possibly be inside the den, and she became increasingly aware how much she would have to trust and rely on Fallenpaw. It wasn't that troubling of a thing to accept though, aside from very fleeting pride issues, and she looked back up to steadily meet her friend's gaze, staring for a few moments, before replying. "Okay, I trust you." She stated, and then nodded with a short blink, willingly stating these words with an actually very serious, and yet calm tone, for she was fully aware of what she was just spoken, and to her, the words had deep meanings.
She watched, not moving yet, as Fallenpaw easily treaded through the strangely short grass, for a moment admiring the other one's confident and sure movements, which made her feel a bit assured on the whole as well. She took a soft inhale of breath, then exhaled just as she slowly lifted a paw, and then took a few pawsteps forward in order to follow her friend. Soon enough, she kept walking with not many hesitations, though all of her instincts were on edge, she was ignoring them and her thoughts of what could possibly be ahead, in favor of following the other one to her birth home. It wasn't an easy task, for she had relied on her instincts for so long, and quite faithfully, that now fully trusting the other cat in such a situation caused inner conflicts, but they would soon be soothed or probably put to rest, she knew it. Her strong sense of loyalty that was now quite strong to Fallenpaw also helped her to feel the urge to follow the other one anywhere, even if it meant this place, for her friend's sake in this situation. As they both approached the den, Dewpaw's breath caught in her throat for a moment, but she relaxed a bit more when Fallenpaw smiled to her, and she nodded with a small smile of her own, walking forward a few more steps until she was nearer the other one. She became a bit more surprised and tensed up again, however, when with a graceful bound, the other apprentice had vanished, and now only some swinging wall thing was swinging in her wake.
She became uncertain again, knowing that she could copy her friend's movements, but the thought of crashing into the obstacle ahead of her was not appealing, and didn't seem to be that much of a way to get inside, either. After a few moments, however, she reached out a paw to nudge the strange thing, and was surprised, yet fascinated when it responded to her touch a bit. She suddenly realized that perhaps Fallenpaw's movements had a bit of sense, and so with a hunching position, and her eyes squeezed shut, she did the same with a short bound inside. It was startling to actually be inside the den with only the slightly strange sensation of entering, and once she did so, she stumbled forward a few steps, blinking wildly. She immediately searched out Fallenpaw in the strange new location, for it had strange noises, and most certainly a strange appearance, with terrifyingly large things everywhere. It only took a moment to spot her friend, and she dashed over, her eyes wide, but once she reached the other one's side, she relaxed a bit, and let out a slight purr upon knowing that she had actually succeeded in coming inside the den with the other cat. Her purr caught in her throat, however, when she looked up to see the inhabitants of the large den. Never before had she seen such large and tall creatures. Dewpaw immediately pressed a bit closer to Fallenpaw, crouching into a submissive position immediately before the other creatures, since the options of fight or flight were not options, as much as such an action hurt her pride.

(Aww, they practically sisters! I think their bond will be a lot stronger after this thread. And no problem for late responses, it's a lovely post) The young feline's turquoise eyes remain trained on the small door, awaiting for the other to follow. If she did. What the tabby didn't realise, and what Fallen refused to point out to her, was that this den was actually a whole lot safer then out there. With the dogs and monsters, and those twolegs that took cats and dogs away to be handed off to someone else. It had never happened to Fallen as after her master's oldest kit had seen one taken away, she'd asked her father to get the she-cat a collar. And that was how she'd gotten this blue band that hung loosely around her neck. The story behind the broken bell however was unknown, even to the cat herself, as some things one could just will themselves to forget.
The minute the small door swayed with slight movement, Fallen stood and watched, tail tip swaying as her eyes set themselves on target. Next thing she knew, Dewpaw stumbled into the den, looking around wildly before dashing over to her side, releasing a purr of relief. Fallen smiled gently at her friend, purring slightly as she curled her tail over the tabby apprentice's back in a comforting gesture. "It's alright Dewpaw" she chuckled gently, nudging her to her feet. Leaving the others side, she calmly approached the youngest kit, not counting the baby of course, and allowed her to follow back to her friend. As if on command, the twoleg gets a certain distance away and kneels down, holding out a hand to Dewpaw. Fallen glances at her clanmate before purring lightly and allowing the twoleg to run its paw gently along her pelt, rubbing her cheek and ear against her wrist before nodding to Dewpaw, sitting by the twoleg. "No need to be afraid. They may look scary, but they are surprisingly gentle. This one especially." she highlights her point by gesturing with her head toward the kit stroking her. Well in clan terms she'd be classed as an older apprentice, maybe Fallen's own age in cat terms.

(I know, right? <3 Their bond is adorable, and so sweet, I certainly agree with you! And thank you so much, yours is very nice as well!)
Dewpaw felt a bit more relieved and reassured when Fallenpaw curled her tail around her back. It was a comforting gesture and one of security, and she pressed against her friend a bit more as she stared up at the much larger creatures. Just looking at them caused her to want to whimper, for she had never seen something so large, and so strange looking. It was very unsettling, as well as how much vulnerability she felt at the moment. She felt relatively safe near the other one, but they were only two small sized cats... and having to be frightened in such ways hurt her pride for sure, even though she wasn't very concerned with that at the moment. Fallenpaw's gentle and soothing voice broke her out of her frightened reverie again, however, and she looked up at the other one upon hearing the assurance, remembering that this was the other cat's home, and there was no reason to fear so much because of this.
She nodded and slowly straightened and stood from her crouched position once nudged to her feet. She let out a shudder once no longer being in the position where she felt a bit more safer if not cowardly, but she meowed in a low, but commitment tone. "Okay." She did trust Fallrnpaw, after all, a statement that was still true, and would continue to be. She didn't like it when the other one left her side and approached the creatures, which still seemed like some sort of danger or potential threat. She examined the creatures warily from a distance, even though she wanted to stay close to her friend at all times, she didn't feel safe at all approaching. It appeared this state of distancing would not last, however, as Fallenpaw seemed to lead one of the smaller creatures over towards her. Dewpaw fixed her gaze on the strange creature nervously, as the strange being reached out with a very strange looking paw. She tensed up a bit when she saw the creature also touching and stroking the other apprentice, but she also noticed how Fallenpaw seemed so relaxed while it was done. She looked at the other one with an imploring gaze, almost looking for reassurance about what to do in this matter, and did get a statement of reassurance.
She nodded in response, and meowed shakily, "Okay..."She stepped forward towards the creature and its outstretched paw, and stared at it for a time. She still felt many danger instincts about actually touching or scenting this being, but since her friend had reassured her about it, and that had added fascination, her fascination and curiosity instincts had kicked in. She actually wanted to know the scent of the creatures, even if it was fleeting. So she hesitantly stepped closer, and leaned her head and nose closer, and cautiously sniffed the creature's large paw. It was a very puzzling scent, a very fleshy and yet a dominant unfamiliar scent, which caused her to tilt her head back at first from the unpleasantness of it, but soon she hesitantly sniffed again. The small apprentice was actually beginning to feel a bit more relaxed now, even if it was gradual. "Yes... I suppose you're right." She finally meowed with a shaky purr to Fallenpaw, glancing over at the other one. "Can these... understand us?" Dewpaw asked carefully and cautiously, finding this necessary information to know about these strange creatures.

(Just failing to respond to the majority of your post because I forgot the first half already, lol) The she-cat's ears pricked forward, fur flat and tail high as she took in the familiar scent of the two legged creature as it skimmed its paw gently along her golden back. Her eyelids battered gently and she purred, hiding the turquoise orbs from view as she lay down on her side, swiping one sheathed claw at the creature. She grinned slightly as her denmate approached cautiously, fear scent swirling amongst curiosity as the two emotions battled a terrible war over dominance of the apprentice. However, curiosity won, and Fallen watched as her tabby friend extended her muzzle toward the fleshy paw and took a whiff of the strange scent. "Master's scent is stronger" she stated, gesturing to the father and leader of this small two leg clan. "And his mate smells faintly of dog. Other than that, they all smell the same." Her information was rewarded by her friend taking another cautious sniff. The creature made no further move to touch her. She seemed to understand that the other would much prefer small steps as she got accustomed to them.
As the other questioned her once more, Fallen tilted her head to one side, rolling onto her back as the kit rubbed her belly gently with a free paw. The young feline purred at the action before batting playfully at the pink flesh like a kitten playing with a moss ball. She tilted her head back and glanced at her friend with a lopsided smile. "No. I don't think they can. Or at least if they do, they never appear to listen. Every time we speak, they merely assume it's for food or water." The apprentice glanced around the room from her upside down position and purred briefly, batting at the paw again before rolling to her belly and standing up. "Wanna see my den?" she questioned her friend, gesturing into a large room in which she assumed was where the new kit was sleeping in too, due to the scent of it. "Me and the kit have a massive den almost the size of our camp, and it's just for us." The young cat purred happily, she loved reminding herself of how big her den was. It made her feel, important...

(That's fine, I'm sorry it was too long to remember. xD )
Dewpaw glanced at Fallenpaw, then at the one who her friend had called Master. That one seemed to be the largest, and most intimidating of the strange Clan of creatures. She shivered a bit, but since the one touching and caressing her seemed to approve, hopefully that one would too. Plus Fallenpaw knew this world, and was very familiar with it, she knew. She had to trust the other one more, since she knew the other apprentice would protect her if any danger happened, even if she would like to do the same. She watched the other one's relaxed and playful movements with round eyes.
She still found it strange to see the other apprentice being so calm and at home with such strange creatures, ones that were not their own kind, yet Fallenpaw seemed to love them like they were somehow. She frowned while thinking about it, but still liked to see the other one looking so happy and comfortable, a stark contrast from how she was earlier that night. It made her feel a bit sick to her stomach, however, how her friend apparently could only be cheered up and happy by going here too, which was a bit disturbing. She listened to the other one's response to her question, and then nodded slowly.
"Oh, okay." Dewpaw wondered if it ever became troubling to only have the creatures understand such requests, but at least those were methods of being provided for. But there seemed to be no dependent cycle in this small group, or was there? She supposed there could be, but it didn't seem like it. She kept puzzling these strange matters over in her mind, but she immediately perked up when Fallenpaw asked if she would like to see the other one's den. She nodded, letting out a bit of a purr while doing so."You have a den? But, of course." She padded closer to her friend, then eagerly padded after when the other she cat motioned towards a certain area. She peered towards it, her eyes widening further, and her ears twitching.
"You have a den that big for just the two of you?" She meowed as an echo almost unbelievingly, hardly able to fathom how the other apprentice could have an area all to herself and the kit of the group, and she padded a bit closer in order to try to peer in a bit, very curious about it now. "So you...would... live with the kit, and be... treated as one?" She looked back towards Fallenpaw, trying to comprehend everything, feeling lost in this place and concept. She didn't understand how this group functioned, how it survived.. and most of all, she didn't want her friend leaving the Clan in favor of this place, which seemed to be more and more of a possibility to her. Though she knew this had been the other one's home first, so in a way it didn't seem very fair at all, yet she still wanted Fallenpaw to remain in the Clan despite this, a possibly selfish bit not entirely unreasonable desire.
(So, should we plan out how to end this roleplay soon?)
