Whitekit padded out of the nursery, the wind ruffled his fluffy fur causing him to try and seek shelter beside a rock. Luckily it seemed to kind of block it. After a while the gust of wind died down and he poked his head from behind the rock out and looked around. "Phew." He sighed in relief and clumsily toddled towards the fresh kill pile. He sniffed it, trying to find something appetizing to eat. He took a fish and stuck his tongue out in disgust by how slimy it was.
He took a bite anyway and seemingly enjoyed the taste so he dragged it to the middle of the clearing and began eating.

Tigerkit had been itching to get out of the nursery since he could walk. Between the swarming kits and the crowded nests, he'd had more than enough experiences of getting stepped on then he needed in a lifetime. Somehow he had managed to get past the play-fighting kits and escape all the games, and and practically fell outside with a quiet 'oof.' The young tom was quick to get to his paws and compose himself again, hoping that nobody had seen his undignified flop. After a moment of surveying the area, Tigerkit stood up, and tried to walk forward, but was almost blown over by a gust of wind that sent shivers up his spine and made his fur fluff out protect himself from the chill.
Now with a mission, which was to escape the wind, the dark brown tabby scampered towards the nearest shelter he found, and that happened to behind Whitekit, even if he hadn't turned out to be a good shield. When the wind stopped, Tigerkit stepped out from behind Whitekit and secretly admired his fish. What did it taste like.
"Would you mind sharing?" There was no way another kit could eat that much on his own, right?

Whitekit's ears moved at the sound of a voice. He lifted his head and saw the stranger from before that'd been standing behind him. He was asked to share and the fluffy tom cat flicked his bushy tail while making a hmmm sound. "Sure, why not." He shoved the prey towards the other kit and waited for him to take a bite. "Watch out it's a little slimy. It's good though." With a yawn and a stretch the cat laid down and his eyes wandered towards the stranger.
"So.." He began, feeling some silence creep in. "Who're you?" It was a typical question but Whitekit was really just hoping the other cat would give him a name. That was simple introductions right. "I'm the great Whitekit. It's a pleasure!" He flicked his tail again with a toothy grin.
"How's the fish?"

Tigerkit nodded a silent thank you before leaning down and sniffing the fish cautiously. He wrinkled his nose a bit at the strange and foreign scent, but decided that if most of the cats here liked it, something had to be good about it. He took a bite, and after determining that he liked it, took a few more before stopping.
"Tigerkit," the tabby answered, sitting up straight and puffing his chest out. When the introduction didn't seem good enough on it's own, he added, "The one and only!" That seemed to satisfy Tigerkit.
"It was weird, but I liked it," he replied. "Did you come out here to avoid being trampled, too?"
