Cold.

She was so cold, teeth chattering so much that it echoed through the small stone cavity Azure found in the ground. Snowflakes were lightly falling in the dark of the freezing night.

Her young fur fluffed up against the cold, the color the same as the snow.

Why did I leave? She thought, tears coming to her eyes as she remembered why. Her vision blurry, she shakily raised her head. Her heart stopped as she saw another cat., staring down at her.

"P-please..." Azure mewled, putting an icy paw over her head "D-don't hurt m-m-me..."

Flan yawned, wandering the plains aimlessly for a place to stay. Sure he had his place in the back of the twolegs alleyway but sometimes it was nice to mix things up a bit. The tomcat walked lazily when suddenly he saw something. He narrowed his eyes, blinking and trying to figure out what the heck it was.

Wandering closer, he soon noticed it wasn't what rather, who. He stared down at the pleading cat and flicked an ear, a small calm laugh escaping him. "What gave you the idea I was gonna hurt you? I'm not into senseless violence, well, anymore." The cat seemed cold and he huffed a sigh.

"Looking for cover?"

Azure's eyes widened as the cat spoke to her Someone... Spoke? To Her?!

"R-really?" She mewed, compleatly surprised "Y-you won't hurt m-me?" She shakily got to her paws, wondering if the cat was lying or not.

"Yeah..." Azure shivered and shook out her pale blue fur "Uhhm... A-are there other wild... C-cats??"
