for ;; Macabre She was younger, getting older with every second passing but still. Younger than most of the cats around her. Although, she didn't look too young. Possibly like a mature adult since that was what she was coming around to be. But her stature was small, built. She was more bulkily built around her shoulders than that of a casual she-cat. This didn't bother her.
The first flakes had begun to fall, kissing the ground with their icy embrace and leaving little breadcrumbs of the cold season to come. Unity wasn't stupid, in fact; the female was quite clever. Having learned battle and hunting skills from a friend of hers who resided in Deathclan. They hadn't talked for some time and she had no idea if the tom was even still alive. Let alone unscathed.
Unity didn't need to worry about other cats at this point. She needed to worry about herself. Winters were brutal and unforgiving. And she was so lost in her own thoughts that she barely noticed another feline only rabbit lengths behind her, until the other cat stepped on a branch. Possibly on purpose.
"Can I help you." The multicolored she-cat mewed, turning her head over her shoulder to get a look at this other body in her presence.

“ CHOKE SOFTLY FROM THE POETRY Macabre re flicked his long tail at the sound of a she cat's voice, "Hmm, well it wouldn't be necessary but a slave would be nice." He purred, attempting a joking voice though not too sure if it actually came out that way. "I'm Macabre. Now introduce yourself and decide whether you wanna hang or fight." He was being pretty straight forward with his speech right now, but he really couldn't be bothered with an unescessarily extended introduction.

The she-cat was a little... well offset by the tom's introduction, and this offset-ness was well shown across her multicolored face. "Er, I'm Unity..." She mewed, tilting her head the slightest bit and adding a flick of her ear. "And fighting has never been useful in creating allies."
Sitting down in front of the new face she let her tail flick out behind her as she spoke, "So I guess it's hang."
His name was also new, something she had never heard before. Then again, a lot of the loners and rouges she had come in contact with had decently weird and unique names. "Now," She began, picking up a paw, licking it, then bringing it over her head. "what is this 'hanging'."

“ CHOKE SOFTLY FROM THE POETRY Macabre flashed an amused smirk as Unity said that she was unfamiliar with the activity, "You know, just hang out, become friends, all that malarcky." He purred. Macabre thought to himself for a while, questions to ask brewing in his mind, "So, Unity, what's your favourite pass-time, colour, food etcetera." He spoke softly, trying to make conversation.
Sorry. I'm lacking muse.

( feeling the same muse lacking ) Unity listened in, still a little confused that there was such a friendly past-time between loners but she shrugged and went along with it. It was basically the easiest thing she had done all week.
"Let's see..." She started, pausing for a quick minute to think. "Basking by the river at the canyon... silver, like the stars... and shrew is pretty good."
The loner than continued to come up with a series of her own questions for the tom to answer. "Alright, favorite season, bird, and what type of females do you like." Sure, the last question was pushing her luck just the slightest bit. But that was life.

“ CHOKE SOFTLY FROM THE POETRY Macabre flicked an ear at the last question. He thought that Unity was trying to get herself into trouble through the final question, but he decided to let that one slide.
"I like Leaf Bare the most, I hate birds, demons, I tell you. Awful little things... Horrible tasting too. And as for your last question," His ear twitched once again, "I'm not really that into females. But I guess as long as their kind."

By his body language just about anyone who was paying attention could tell that was not the best choice of words on her part. Although she couldn't tell if he was angry, confused, or just surprised. She hoped he was surprised, it was the best way to go. Due to the fact she had come to learn that confusion easily lead to anger which led to fighting... which then led to death.
"Seems legit." She mewed, shrugging away the uneasy feeling he was beginning to bring on. This hanging out thing was quite awkward to say the least. Especially cause the two had just met and she had absolutely no idea who this cat was. "Tell me a... tidbit about yourself." Unity mewed, her eyes wandering over the tom's figure. Almost sizing him up just incase he had other plans.

“ CHOKE SOFTLY FROM THE POETRY Macabre tried to move away from the awkwardness that one of the previous questions had brought on, "About myself? Hmm... Well, I was born on this like giant twoleg thing that floated on water, I got attacked by a bluebird as a kit so now I'm paranoid about them, umm, my birth-name was actually Varick, I can't swim and I like the sound of waves crashing." He explained. He hadn't really told much of his past before, only that he was born on the large twoleg device that scared him to death with it's constant rocking. But hey, there was always lots of food to eat, delicious too. Fish. He had also almost forgotten his birth-name. He was so used to being called Macabre. He had also forgotten the horrible memories that the name held. Memories of his long-deceased family. Memories that had traumatised him as a younger cat.
(The twolged device is a boat by the way.... But he doesn't know that)
