Watching the sky (Private/Sprucepaw)

[Vixenpaw]

For Spruceclaw

Vixenkit trotted out of the nursery and went to watch the stars
She did not notice how late was it.
Vixen then started to speak
"Anyone here?" she yowled
The reddish brown kitten sat and waited 

[Spruceclaw]

"Im here," a deep voice sounded behind the kit. "Although judging by the way you're talking id say youd be talking to your ancestors." The voice said before a dark brown, long haired tom emerged from the shadows his emerald green eyes shone in the moon light. " names sprucepaw little one." He said settling down next to the kit and gazing up into the sky.

[Vixenpaw]

"I'm Vixenkit. I like watching the stars" she meowed
Vixenkit licked her paw.
"The nursery is crowded" she mewed again
Vixenkit gazed at the sky.
"Is the apprentice den crowded?" she asked thinking of being trampled in her sleep

[Spruceclaw]

"Nice to meet you vixenkit. yes the sky is quite lovely at night." he said still gazing up at the night sky with a distant look. " i know how you feel i was once a tiny scrap of furr like you. However no the apprentices den is not crowded." He answered giggling slightly at how a kit would react if suddenly thrown into the apprentices den. "If you watch the skies do you plan on being a medicine cat one day?" He asked knowing the kit couldn't become a medicine cat but it'd be nice to dream.

[Vixenpaw]

"No not really. I think warrior will suit me better"
Vixenkit meowed. She smiled curling her tail.
"Whose your mentor" Vixen asked

[Spruceclaw]

Sprucepaw smiled at her. "My mentor is dapplecloud. she's a great mentor but I'm done with training so I've just been biding my time. What about you are you almost ready to begin training?" He asked curiously rapping his tail over his paws.

[Vixenpaw]

"In a few moons" she sighed.
"But the day will come wont it?" Vixenkit mewed swaying her tail

[Spruceclaw]

"Of course it'll come, sooner than you think too. who knows, if you're patient enough id take you as an apprentice. after all you seem quite level-headed." He said smiling at her and remembering how excited he had been. to take on an apprentice.

[Vixenpaw]

" You would be a great mentor" she purred
"I hope cloverstar chooses you to be my mentor" Vixenkit mewed 
She was imagining apprentice days that were just a few moons ahead

[Spruceclaw]

"Thanks. i hope he chooses me too. I'm sure you'd make an excellent apprentice." He said gazing over at her. he could already hope shed be his apprentice

[Vixenpaw]

Vixenkit smiled as Sprucepaw spoke
She really hoped the tom would be her mentor
"What do you want your warrior name to be?"
Vixen asked

[Spruceclaw]

"I was thinking spruceheart or spruceclaw." He mewed before looking at her. "What do you think?" He asked curious to know what she thought.

[Vixenpaw]

"Spruceclaw sounds nice" Vixenkit meowed

"Thanks."sprucepaw said gazing back up at the sky. before rising to his paws "well vixen i wouldn't want to keep you from your mother." He said "I'm sure we'll see each other again maybe in training." He said longing to be her mentor.

The she kitten smiled
"I never met my mother yet" Vixenkit meowed sadly
"I think she is Brackensky"
