Spruceclaw , you are brave and spirited. I name you Spruceclaw. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life? [Wait for response of, 'I do.'] Then I commend you to CloudClan, to become a warrior. By naming this apprentice, we show that RockClan will survive and remain strong. Ripplepaw , from now on you will be known as Ripplepaw... Sandstone , you are ready for an apprentice. You will be Ripplepaw's mentor. By naming this apprentice, we show that RockClan will survive and remain strong. Swirlpaw , from now on you will be known as Swirlpaw... Windswirl , you are ready for an apprentice. You will be Swirlpaw's mentor. Dogpaw , you need a new mentor. Spruceclaw will be your mentor.

Swirlkit woke with a start. She had been asked to the ceremony today. She knew she would be partaking in the ancient rituals, and this sent a buzzing spark of excitement through her veins. Along with the ever present chill of fear. Getting to her paws, she hurriedly cleaned her pelt and pricked her ears, trying to visualize her surroundings by the buzz of voices echoing off things. With a little help from the moons she'd spent walking into things till she learnt to use her other senses, along with her whiskers, as a guide. It was terribly difficult, and she walked slowly out of the den in what she assumed was the general direction of her gathering clan mates. The many cat scents helped her along the way and she brushed her whiskers against another cat before sitting near them. Her glazed blue eyes turn to face what she expected was her leader's location on this supposed high rock. Her snowy, silver furred pelt is smooth and glossy thanks to her grooming attempts. Though it would have helped majorly if she could see it.
The young kitten's ears prick forward, cheering gleefully for each new cat in turn to the point of which they came upon her own. She stood and walked closer, though she stopped so she wouldn't crash into something. She lowers her head respectfully, hoping she was facing the right direction. A slight shiver runs up her spine as she shifts her snowy paws nervously. She was glad it wasn't the new warrior who received her, it would be a shame for their first apprentice to be such a burden like herself. Nodding slightly as she received her new mentors name. Little Swirlpaw walked around awkwardly until she crashed abruptly into another cat. Springing back with fluffed up fur, her eyes widen in surprise and shock. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to walk into you!" She exclaimed to her new mentor, smoothing her ruffled pelt and getting over her initial shock. "Can you help me find my new mentor, Windswirl? " She questioned anxiously. Unaware that she was talking to said cat already. (Hehe, this will be interesting...)

"I do..." sprucepaw ,now spruceclaw, said and gave his leader a respectful lick on the shoulder before going to join the other warriors. his heart skipped a beat when he heard his nane called again. he had been planning to take on an apprentice anyways but maybe not this soon. It was fine though as long as he remembered what dapplecloud had taught him. he awkwardly touched noses with his apprentice.

She was nearby when she seen Cloverstar doing a particular ceremony. She gathered around as the others did, listening to the new warriors or apprentices being named. So, that's one new warrior and four apprentices made. She wasn't surprised that her name was called to be mentor, quite happy she was. "Congrads, Spruceclaw!" She said when he accepted his new role. Windswirl glanced back, looking for the apprentice since all others would go to their mentor it would of been easy to find but at that moment someone run into her, tripped maybe or too excited she assumed. She understood the antsy adrenaline others would be when just waiting their little hearts out to be apprenticed. " No biggie!" The warrior said warmheartedly, glancing at the snow white apprentice not really knowing who the apprenticed belonged to until she mentioned the name of the mentor. "Windswirl you say? Yes, that's me." She said,"It's great to have you as an apprentice." Touching noses gently,"You can go get settled in your new den and I could get you tommorrow if you'd like." She suggested to her, unless she wanted training now, whatever her wish.

I had heard most of the ceremony from outside the warriors' den, arriving at Cloverstar's call. I was pleased to see that Sprucepaw, now Spruceclaw, had finally attained his goal of receiving his warrior name. I walked up to him, seeing Sandstone leave, though I had heard nothing of the conversation. "Congratulations on becoming a warrior, Spruceclaw. You've certainly learned a lot."

Lace up your shoes Here's how we do Run baby run Don't ever look back They'll tear us apart if you give them the chance Don't sell your heart, don't say we're not meant to be Run baby run, forever we'll be You and me | Dogpaw barely had to raise his head over the crowd to easily seek out his new mentor. The tuxedo male approached, a steady calm to his form that contrasted starkly with Spruceclaw's evident skittishness. Dogpaw was almost as tall as he was, and he held the other tom's gaze with his sea-green eyes as their noses brushed briefly against each other's. He stepped back and allowed Spruceclaw to converse with his former mentor, keeping quiet. |

"Yes, sir. I do believe I've gone over everything except fighting and then an assessment after that," he responded smoothly. With that, he nodded curtly and left for his nest in the apprentices' den, hoping to catch some sleep before practicing a little prior to his training session the next day. |
