Vixenkit had never met other kits her siblings or even her own mother.
She always sits in the nursery bored.
Vixenkit was hoping to talk to an older cat so she sat outside the nursery
"Hello" she called out
She perked her ears up hoping for a replay.

Hailpaw was slowly padding around the edges of the camp, trying to memorize every pawstep. The camp felt huge- she must have been walking for a solid five minutes. Starting to pass the nursery, the apprentice stopped as she heard a little voice. "Hello?"

The red brown kitten looked at the cat
"Are you an apprentice?" she asked

Sandstone padded over and saw the apprentice and kit who looked to be close enough to be an apprentice. "Hello you two." She meowed dipping her head in greeting.

Hailpaw nodded. "And I assume you're a kit?" A friendly smile appeared on her muzzle. "I'm Hailpaw. Who are you?" She asked, sitting down and curling her tail over her paws. Her ears perked up at the sound of pawsteps. She sniffed the air. The warrior's voice sounded familiar, though she wasn't totally positive on who it was. "Sandstone? Is that you?"

Sandstone nodded to Hailpaws question. "Yep. Its me alright." She smiled seeing Hailpaws. It had been a while.

"Nice to meet you Vixenkit." She meowed kindly to the younger kit and decided to sit down. "Well I hope you get a great mentor." She meowed.

She purred. "Nice to hear from you again." She imagined Sandstone as a muscular, pretty-looking warrior by now. Then again, she didn't really know what that looked like. Hailpaw nodded as the kit spoke. "Nice to meet you, Vixenkit! I'm Hailpaw. Maybe we'll be denmates soon."

"very soon we will be den mates" she meowed

"Nice names too"

She nodded. "And then in the warriors den with me unless im in the nursery." She meowed but muttered the last part. She licked her chest fur which seemed to be show I embarrassment.
