Sandstone looked at him. "I've never been able to trust a Treeclanner. One tried to claw me before." She meowed referring to Willowpaw. She closed her eyes and looked away. "And I tried to talk nice but, my anger at that clan toke over. I wanted her dead." She said the word dead in a distant voice and started padding up the ravine. Leading Spruceclaw away from her hiding den.
"Tell Ripple I'll be at training tommorow, but tonight im sleeping here." She meowed and before Sandstone could let Spruceclaw say anything she looked at him. "Alone." And she padded into the den with a lick.

Spruceclaw listened to her carefully. he rose with her as she led him away. "Ill tell him. oh ... congrats ripple is a good cat." He said he chose not to argue with her knowing that if she wanted something she usually got her way. "Ill see. you in the morning." he mewed giving her a lick on the cheek.

Sandstone looked at him sadly when he started padding away. She looked down and padded away into the den. "Why am I such a reck?" She meowed softly but loud enough that others could hear it. She muttered herself to sleep feeling cold, yearning for Spruceclaws warmth and love.

As spruceclaw padded away he heard a mew coming from the den. spruceclaw turbed and ran back to the den "sandy! sandy! are you ok! What bit you?" he mewed jumping into the den claws unsheathed and his eyes alight with the flame of battle.

"I love you two, Sprucey." Sandstone purred softly licking Sprucehearts side. Her eyes full of love. "On either thing, Im having kits." She meowed sweetly to him happiness in her eyes.
(Im just sticking to Sand and spruce did it and yeah)

Spruceclaw froze he was pretty sure he had heard he correctly. "Kits... my kits? You mean to tell me you are carrying my kits?" He said stuttering as he was shocked he was also very happy and full of joy.

He gulped he was so suprised and filled with joy he had lost his abbility to speak. "I'm... a... father?" He mewed licking her stomach affectionatly as if his kits could already sense his presence. "Your sure?" He asked not wanting false joy and excitement.

"Im positive. I talked to the other queens and they agreed. And look at my stomach, its gotten bigger then before." She meowed then purring as Spruceclaw licked her stomach. The kits are going to be so handsome and skilled like their dad she thought.

"Great that's the best news I've ever heard." He said his heart almost leaping from his chest. "Ill be a father." He mewed to himself as he found himself lost in thought. "I hope they're as beautiful as their mother. and as good with the ladies as i am." He added the last part with a laugh and a cocky grin. He licked her stomach again noticing that it was larger but not noticeably yet.
