"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath Highstone!" Robinstar called. "Burnetkit, please step forward. You are six moons of age and ready to become an apprentice. Robinheart, you are ready for an apprentice. You will be Burnetpaw's mentor."

Robinheart craned his head over the crowd and stepped out, nodding respectfully at Robinstar before presenting himself to his apprentice. The bicolored warrior leaned down to press his nose against Burnetpaw's. "Alright, kiddo. Go mingle with your buds, get some sleep, and I'll come and get you tomorrow for training," he said, grinning crookedly.

Burnetpaw stood proud, basking in the yowls of his clanmates with his head held high. This is how it should always be, he thought, knowing he would never get tired of hearing his own name. He was confident when touching his nose to his new mentor's, carefully looking over the tom with judgmental amber eyes. Not exactly a hero of legend, the russet apprentice thought, unable to remember if he had heard the older tom's name before (although to be honest it wasn't as if he payed to much mind as to what other cats said), but I guess he'll do. A toothy smirk slipped onto Burnetpaw's face as he listened to Robinheart's instructions. "Of course," the bobtail purred in an amused way, his dark eyes holding a mischievous gleam. Does he think he can boss me around now? the tom thought, almost laughing at the thought, cute.

Pondkit had watched the ceremony, knowing Burnetkit would absolutely love it. She watched as her bro's new mentor touched noses with him and told him some stuff. After the ceremony, Pondkit shuffled around the paws of cats and gave Burnetpaw a approving nod. "Congrats." Was all she said before disappearing back into the crowd.
